18/5/2017 20:12 | Nice reaction of previous breakout highs. Aslong as 39.5p holds give or take then still looks very bullish. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | ileeman
17/5/2017 15:21 | Still consolidating after the break, taking a bit longer but to be expected as cap is fairly large. Move higher is coming. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | ileeman
17/5/2017 12:18 | well done.i think this company will be massive over the next few years. | lithological heterogeneities
17/5/2017 11:27 | Just bought another 96k in 2 lumps. Feet up now until we hit TD | family values
16/5/2017 18:43 | I wonder will there be any elaboration on this and surprised no one has thought of this as possibly a completely seperate value driver given the scale of the actual programme under way. Think about it - A massive 5000 km2 of 3D was already underway as of 7 months ago on the Nigerian side with a 6 well drilling campaign to start this year. This is actually greater than the 3D on our blocks. Basically someone else is doing the upfront hard work with their own cash and resources at no risk to us, so if FES come up trumps on a discovery even a 5%+ back in right could be very meaningful to a company of Savannahs size. 5000 km2 of 3D is absolutely massive. One has to wonder what are they trying to refine to such an extent by 3D rather than 2D. By comparison the Chinese had 8,500 km2 of 3D conducted in proving up 1 billion bls. Mirabaud November 2016 "New ventures During the capital markets event, Savannah also announced an MoU to provide technical assistance to NNPC’s exploration arm, FES (Frontier Exploration Services) in the Nigerian portion of the Central African Rift System (see Figure 8). FES has received approval for a ~5,000km2 3D seismic programme (which is already underway) and a six well drilling campaign in this area (starting in 2017) amidst the push to regenerate the North. The driver for FES is that SAVP has a significant database and technical understanding of the Niger portion of the Central African Rift. In exchange for its involvement meanwhile, Savannah expects to earn a back in right (to be determined in further talks) in a success case, providing meaningful optionality in a new exploration frontier without any of the associated capital costs." In last months SAVP presentation "Other potential projects with NNDC and NNPC are actively being reviewed by Savannah." This is why I believe Savp could be a star in the making on a number of fronts. | zengas
15/5/2017 12:38 | Looks like it wants to come back for a retest before heading higher. Not long now. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | ileeman
14/5/2017 18:07 | I believe that the company will announce further exploration targets as low as 3000m in depth which will contain better quality oil, (stacked targets). These targets will be identified by the 3D's which will help define the traps required to ensure oil retention, if they do find oil lower down I believe it would be these discoveries which will hold a significant number of barrels. Call it the cherry on the cake. | diversification
14/5/2017 17:01 | hxxps://www.platts.c CNPC made 77 discoveries from 99 exploration wells drilled at Agadem in 2009-2013, Knott says, adding that most discoveries have been in the Eocene, at depths of 1,300-1,800 meters, with costs of under $5 million per well. CNPC is now deepening some of its wells, he added. Knott expects that discoveries of as little as 3 million barrels in size could prove viable, assuming agreement is reached on the pipeline link to Chad, linking up with a 650 km ExxonMobil-operated pipeline that transports about 100,000 b/d of heavy crude from the Doba basin to Cameroon's coast. | diversification

14/5/2017 13:01 | Buffy don't be pedantic. What I meant was we don't know whether they will actually get a farm out | ngms27
14/5/2017 09:33 | Ngms, what's the point in saying "the juries (sic) out". We're expecting a farmout, but it's not been announced yet. There's no jury because there's nothing to judge. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
13/5/2017 08:49 | 16:10 "The way we look at it as a company is that almost any discovery that we make will be very significant and very material for the business." "And most importantly given the nature of the asset that we have where we're targetting these sequential structures not only is the asset large, it's low cost but each individual success is very repeatable." | x54v
13/5/2017 08:42 | 11:00 "And the good thing about our company is that mangement and directors have all got significant equity exposure." | x54v
13/5/2017 08:40 | "Again, I've said consistently that I would expect to do something strategic prior to starting to drill at which point we would bring in a partner" - from 10:37 | x54v
13/5/2017 08:22 | Yes, as ngms27 has said the jury is out on a jv and short term if one wasn't forthcoming one could expect a correction in the shareprice. But mid/long term the investment case is compelling. | captain james t kirk
12/5/2017 17:01 | For those who have based an investment on the possibility of a farm out I think your chances of success are 50/50. Fact is your chances of success with the drill bit in the ground based on previous success on the same basin of over 100 wells is 75%. Reduce that chance of success to 33% and we will still hit oil based on our expensive 3DS but will own 100% of the acreage if they don't farm out. Worst case scanario and they don't find oil in the first three wells they have the option of another six wells and are fully funded. It's a case of sit back and relax imo, newsflow is about to significantly ramp up which will drive the volume and the share price. With less than 36% in free float this share is very cheap imo. The reason I invested here is unlike others such as HUR whereby I missed the boat based on market cap of over 700 million compared to less than 100 million. I have the opportunity to more than double my money in a short space of time. This is not without risk and I could equally lose half. Risk reward compelling enough for me. ZENGA has taken the time to summarise this a lot better than I have. Worth a read if you haven't already | diversification |
