05/4/2024 07:09 | Umm... possibly Monday. Unless funds are needed shareholders are not valued particularly highly. They have the extension they wanted, so they will get around to updating shareholders as and when it is convenient to them. | 1madmarky
05/4/2024 07:08 | SAVE tends to favour the evening RNS. It would be a lot easier if all companies issued RNS's in the evenings really. | robsy2
05/4/2024 07:04 | I suppose we will get some news this evening. | robsy2
04/4/2024 16:50 | I've always wondered why folk post the wording of a rns, sometimes cluttering up a board, when it's just as efficient to post a link. However, in instances such as this disagreement it does have its uses: RockyRide Posts: 325 Price: 26.25 No Opinion RNS28 Mar 2024 16:32 South Sudan Acquisition Update Further to the Company's announcement on 1 February 2024, the Company confirms that it remains suspended from trading on AIM, with a revised cancellation date of 17 May 2024, whilst it continues to advance the various workstreams, including receipt of in-country approvals, required to complete the acquisition of PETRONAS International Corporation Limited's energy business in South Sudan. The Company will provide a more detailed update regarding the ongoing process to complete the transaction during the course of next week. Can hatchets now be buried. 04/4/2024 15:06 | RR- apologies I wasn't accusing you I thought you had made an innocent mistake and I put up the post to try and explain the reason for the misunderstanding between you and Buffy and challenge those who thought the anticipated RNS was late. | porschefund
04/4/2024 14:51 | Buffy - you are 100% correct, the word 'the' has recently been retrospectively removed.PF - I'm very surprised you tried to call me out accusing me of adding a word which I thought you (especially you) would have known better of me. Please don't DM me again asking for detailed info of my communications with IR and company representatives? | rockyride
04/4/2024 12:24 | I actually agreed with RRs wording. I remember seeing the extra ‘the’. I think it may have been corrected as a non material typo. Regardless, I’m expecting it tomorrow. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
04/4/2024 09:23 | RR incorrectly added the word "the" to the RNS wording. The phrase: The Company will provide a more detailed update regarding the ongoing process to complete the transaction during the course of "the" next week. and : The Company will provide a more detailed update regarding the ongoing process to complete the transaction during the course of next week. have different meanings. AN RNS could have landed today but it isn't yet late by SAVE's forecast time frame. | porschefund
04/4/2024 08:07 | At least RR has learnt something about himself. I always had Friday or not this week as the two most likely options. It’s not the first time, but the excitable young chap didn’t have that perspective. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
04/4/2024 07:20 | Does this company ever do things on schedule? | divmad
04/4/2024 07:12 | RNS on Friday rarely has good news :-( | fft
04/4/2024 07:05 | RNS tomorrow then. ! | bushman1
03/4/2024 13:53 | Naira still crawling in the right direction | 1madmarky
03/4/2024 13:11 | ‘So I guess I could be a second out! Love your stalking of me and pendanicity though! x’ Pedantic, moi? You were the one counting the minutes. Within a week sure, but in the course of the next week means not in the course of this week nor in the course of the last week. Anyway, as long as it’s worth reading I don’t care when it is as long as it’s in the course of this week…. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
03/4/2024 12:51 | AI answer:-If it was said at 7am on Thursday, "in the course of the next week" would end at 06:59:59pm on the following Thursday. So I guess I could be a second out! Love your stalking of me and pendanicity though! x | rockyride
03/4/2024 12:28 | Tomorrow is Thursday; it can come on Friday. The RNS said it would be in the course of the week, not within this financial year. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
03/4/2024 12:23 | Today or 7.00am in the morrow? | rockyride
01/4/2024 14:11 | Naira still making progress:-) | 1madmarky
30/3/2024 15:52 | Recent reporting by Al Jazeera and France24 regarding SSudan make grim reading. | e43
30/3/2024 15:49 | I think the Chinese sill be all over this. | kinkell
30/3/2024 15:31 | If Sudan cannot get it's pipeline going,S Sudan could quickly collapse to a failed state,AK might need a private army to make any progress .oilprice.com claims 90% of S Sudan government revenue comes fr oil. | e43
29/3/2024 17:49 | Hi RR Yes you have some good points, maybe the regulators have said you have to give more reason and justification on the various work streams involved to keep suspended for another couple of months. So SAVE have just put out a quick RNS to say, hey were still suspended but will give you more info next week to please them. Hope fully will get some better news next week, I think everything is done to be honest, or 90 95% done and just waiting for the official Government approval. After what happened in Chad it seems AK is not shifting until he has proper official approval, which makes sense, not even releasing and AD as probably don`t wnt to look like he's jumping the gun. | upwego
29/3/2024 11:58 | Well I'm feeling positive ( first time in a while). I know one thing AK is a tryer. I know some have wobbles on here but stay positive. Give him the credit he deserves. He has produced and delivered many times already. Good on him and the team as well. Thank you guys for your continued efforts. Happy Easter to everyone! | jnbrw
29/3/2024 10:59 | UWG - hi matey on hols at mo on 3 week well needed break. Just popping in now and again. To be fair it could be anything and even as minor as AIM / NOMAD agreeing a further extension but with a clause that they give holders some sort of update. I do know NOMAD and AIM have been given a tough time of late from a quite a few people. What I fail to see is what value the RNS added yesterday and what needs to change or can change before another update within the next week! Surely, whatever we see in the RNS next week would have been know last night or by Tuesday morning when they could have simply issued 1 RNS instead of 2. Or is there a compelling / important event happening sometime next week that they need to wait for before updating us. And re the deal, yes I would be extremely happy should the deal complete, albeit ATM we'll be able to count the reserves numbers but 0boepd production due to the export pipeline issued due to the was in Sudan. That said, the Chinese will be all over that like a rash with Governments and all sides of the warring factions and will be indirectly fighting our corner.I do not believe Sunak that there are green shoots in the UK economy but I firmly believe there are a few acorns germinating and even starting to sprout which will eventually turn in to very healthy Savannah Oak trees.PS I know there are different sites to see the USD/NGN fx rate but the one I see says 1,393. Let's see this get to | rockyride |
