29/3/2024 17:49 | Hi RR Yes you have some good points, maybe the regulators have said you have to give more reason and justification on the various work streams involved to keep suspended for another couple of months. So SAVE have just put out a quick RNS to say, hey were still suspended but will give you more info next week to please them. Hope fully will get some better news next week, I think everything is done to be honest, or 90 95% done and just waiting for the official Government approval. After what happened in Chad it seems AK is not shifting until he has proper official approval, which makes sense, not even releasing and AD as probably don`t wnt to look like he's jumping the gun. | upwego
29/3/2024 11:58 | Well I'm feeling positive ( first time in a while). I know one thing AK is a tryer. I know some have wobbles on here but stay positive. Give him the credit he deserves. He has produced and delivered many times already. Good on him and the team as well. Thank you guys for your continued efforts. Happy Easter to everyone! | jnbrw
29/3/2024 10:59 | UWG - hi matey on hols at mo on 3 week well needed break. Just popping in now and again. To be fair it could be anything and even as minor as AIM / NOMAD agreeing a further extension but with a clause that they give holders some sort of update. I do know NOMAD and AIM have been given a tough time of late from a quite a few people. What I fail to see is what value the RNS added yesterday and what needs to change or can change before another update within the next week! Surely, whatever we see in the RNS next week would have been know last night or by Tuesday morning when they could have simply issued 1 RNS instead of 2. Or is there a compelling / important event happening sometime next week that they need to wait for before updating us. And re the deal, yes I would be extremely happy should the deal complete, albeit ATM we'll be able to count the reserves numbers but 0boepd production due to the export pipeline issued due to the was in Sudan. That said, the Chinese will be all over that like a rash with Governments and all sides of the warring factions and will be indirectly fighting our corner.I do not believe Sunak that there are green shoots in the UK economy but I firmly believe there are a few acorns germinating and even starting to sprout which will eventually turn in to very healthy Savannah Oak trees.PS I know there are different sites to see the USD/NGN fx rate but the one I see says 1,393. Let's see this get to | rockyride
29/3/2024 09:40 | Sounds positive and great to here we will have a more detailed response regarding the various work streams involved. Bottom line the icing on the cake here is government approval. we get that and then it fireworks as we will complete the deal. Here`s hoping :) | upwego
28/3/2024 22:59 | Looks extremely positive, hopefully AK can deliver this company maker .. if he gets it over the line then each and everyone one of us deserves it | tens machine
28/3/2024 22:42 | 'The Company will provide a more detailed update regarding the ongoing process to complete the transaction during the course of next week.' I read this as a positive development - as it's almost inconceivable that a company would put such detailed information in the public domain unless it's management were close to and quietly confident of completing the deal. | mount teide
28/3/2024 22:03 | Unexpected update with the planned information next week. Sounds positive. But it could go both ways. Lets see what happens. | thommie
28/3/2024 17:35 | Well, that is slightly positive, there must be a chance this crosses the li e, and we hear more details next week.I slightly relieved. | che7win
28/3/2024 16:53 | Certainly suggests not given up on SS and indeed progress to communicate next week... | shareideas1
28/3/2024 16:45 | They must have made some progress else would not have got yet another extention. What would be nice is if the update next week signifies the start of the relist process.... although that's probably just wishful thinking. Happy Easter everyone! | 1madmarky
28/3/2024 13:27 | Naira still moving nicely | 1madmarky
28/3/2024 12:25 | At this late stage it looks like SS still isn't over the line. | gisjob2
28/3/2024 12:21 | Wonder if we will get an after hours rns today? maybe? | upwego
27/3/2024 07:24 | Naira continues to crawl in the right direction | 1madmarky
27/3/2024 07:20 | Yes very good 👍. IMHO AK has invested way too much time and effort in SS to let it go. | 1madmarky
26/3/2024 22:04 | 1MM - you may well be right - if so, to achieve that they will have needed to present some extremely convincing evidence of further material progress towards deal completion to the AIM Regulator. In such circumstances we won't need to worry about the market responsibilities of our financially incentivised NOMAD, as they will be largely acting as Savannah's defence council! | mount teide
26/3/2024 20:47 | D) suspended until 30th june That's where my money is | 1madmarky
26/3/2024 17:29 | Only two business days left prior to the greatly anticipated SAVE update. Tuesday 2nd April. The share price at trading halt was 26.25 p ~ RTO Petronas SS . In a nutshell. Nigeria has seen further positive developments. Niger is now moving ahead. Chad looks promising eventually with ICC. Oil at $ 82.82 barrel. A difficult question. Any thoughts re an approximate price on re admission . a. SS deal completed b. SS deal negotiations still underway and trading resumes and c. SS deal shelved and trading resumes. Please DYOR. GLTA. | bushman1
25/3/2024 12:54 | Naira continues to recover | 1madmarky
22/3/2024 15:39 | I'd have thought it would make more sense to have delayed the Nigeria announcement to time with the SS and relisting news, if the latter is to be negative to take the edge off it. If SS were positive it would make sense to release the Nigeria news earlier (or somewhat later) so that it could enjoy its own moment in the sun so to speak. | haideralifool
22/3/2024 15:20 | moonshot320 Mar '24 - 17:45 - 2721 of 2727 I’ve written off the SS deal. The recent RNS is a means to soften the blow when we return to trading again. I was thinking the same thing, if no approval yet or no sign of it, we could just walk away from it, if we do I would imagine AK will immediately step into another aquisition, hopefully something not larger than the market cap in a much better part of Africa, preferably Nigeria. I have a feeling we may just have to walk away.. If you fancy this bird and she won`t commit to you after smashing your head against the wall then the right choice would be to walk away, it feels like there not entertaining SAVE, but what do I know they could be and if they are then another suspension on the cards again. Never a dull moment just depressing lol :) Have a great week end all! | upwego
21/3/2024 20:04 | Zengas, I was quite happy to suggest 16p on return without SS and on the back.of the Chad debacle and before the latest Stubb Creek deal. I agree that now the Stubb Creek deal has been done the price will be higher. I also agree roughly with your calcs, where I disagree is whether the market will agree with the valuation without SS. Throwing figures at the situation is very useful but the markets don't always agree. I hold a few shares where the share price is nowhere near the sum of the parts valuation and a finger in the air would have proved just as accurate. Sadly we'll never know how accurate 16p would have been now Stubb Creek has been acquired | gisjob2
21/3/2024 16:00 | I know some posters were saying 15p on return if no S.Sudan, but i never seen any workings to say why it's worth that. Therefore without sticking a finger in the air to get 15p (why not 18 - 13 - 21 compared to a nice round 15p) it's as much for my own benefit not to make a reactionary decision just because others might and try and understand the sum of the parts valuation. Whatever happens and at some point we get back to being unsuspended, perhaps the directors might show some further support by buying and demonstrating confidence at whatever price. Last buy was from the new Chairman with 6,095,726 shares at 26.25p for £1.6m. | zengas |
