Not surprised no RNS as there have been so many large volume transactions recently which have not merited such a posting. However do think something is building up with this share which will explode shortly.

This is listed in the no mans land sector...either put the company for sale as a job lot and the buyer keeps the either (leisure or Insurance) and disposes the other...or split the company in 2...

more to do with Hastings results and comments , however as long as their cashflow is not effected greatly then the div should be safe , although in reality for the business it should be cut .

Over 20p down from recent highs, let's hope they stay down long enough to reinvest dividend at this juicy price.

bend1pa - I don't pretend to know where the price is going next but what has been happening is that since late 2017 it has been trundling along trying to make a base following what was a very big fall. Whether it proves to be a base or breaks down further no one knows but if you think that is a double top I wish you well with your future charting.

There is no such thingy as studies in the casino markets as it is a casino...too many variables with news flow and the price changes...you are either long, short, stay out of market or keep on reading the text books!!...and you will be lining up the author's pockets...

Or is this just an argument where people post up a series of examples that in retrospect demonstrate their own point.

Good grief people and you expect to be able to exercise a vote that actually means something in a General Election !

I despair of the education system when basic reasoning appears to have deserted what appear to be reasonably knowledgeable people.

Although I guess if enough people want to believe in what the snake oil salesman says...

You might want to have a look at Lloy chart from 2016 to current...do you see anything around 72.5p...

So show us the studies of these type of 'double tops' on shares that have dropped significantly and the subsequent price movements then, that show 'lot further to drop' is actually based on any evidence.

Or even the studies of double tops at share price highs, that show that when the share prices have come off the top down to previous support, that they continue down.

Because without those there is no validity whatsoever. Just guesswork or wishful thinking.

That is a a double top. The 'top' doesn't mean the share price has to hit a record high, but an established high set over a period, in this case 138/139.

Precisely. A double top requires something of a top. This is just in a range not indicating anything other than a struggle to make a base. Time will tell if a base is formed and whether the lows in March were the bottom.

Whatever that is on the chart its not a double top, whatever the share price does from now on.

For a real double top, see the Dow 2017-2018.

Two days on trot, that one hell of a lot of stock has changed hands in the afternoon around 120p

Can help thinking this drop has been orchestrated to allow a big line of stock to change hands....and with all the afternoon action, I bet JPM are involved again somewhere.

Constant AT sells against the bid all morning.....something sure has happened to sour sentiment against this one.

Share price here seems to be suffering like many other's due to a downturn in the markets at the moment. Market momentum definately is pushing a lot of good stocks lower, how long this goes on is anyones guess.
