10/5/2018 22:14 | Never understood price action in Saga...it has a habit of doing like today more often.. | diku
10/5/2018 13:14 | looking good and a 6p div | portside1
09/5/2018 21:43 | This outfit will eventually get taken over on the basis it will be split up...only matter of time...sooner the better for porty... | diku
09/5/2018 18:41 | Bit naive spob, only dreamers don’t worry about their investments/ trades especially with things being so volatile at the moment, anyway, I’ve just renewed my premium membership for the year & I enjoy trading so I’ll give your advice a pass. | mercer95
09/5/2018 18:11 | "I honestly couldn’t sleep at night if I was invested here" LOL perhaps investing is not for you | spob
09/5/2018 14:37 | I am very happy with my holding yes my one daughter business turns over 54m but it only makes a good income after paying 38 staff but very nice | portside1
09/5/2018 14:03 | Not everyone has two daughters earning, how much did you say potty, 5 or 50 million 🤭 When trading potty you need to become the market, like a tuning fork, listening not talking, not this weekend, next year, looking ahead, not inward, I honestly couldn’t sleep at night if I was invested here, why take the risk but we’re all different I guess, that’s what makes the market. | mercer95
09/5/2018 13:51 | mec life is great I live in ironbridge it was that busy over the weekend the shops ran out of food the pubs packed I went out of the bridge to spoons to get away from it all . had a great day .had 7 pints and steak and chips cost 7.99 spoons is good | portside1
09/5/2018 13:45 | my pension just went up 3.9% my old age pension up 3% house prices to us old generation does not matter must of the people I no who have very little family some non are taking cash out of their homes and just going on hols all the time cruises and winter away , I want for nothing but never going to Europe again sold mmy house in Ibiza last year got a great price now filtering money to the grand children and two great grand children I draw out cash ever week for them it will take me around 15 years to get rid of it all . then the daughter will have my house and sell the 3 I rent out its a great life will only go to the good old usa in future first class | portside1
09/5/2018 12:54 | What I am seeing is the older generation as actually spending , there is excellent cashflow , if that starts to change then it will be time to look again , margins are always important but covering the divi payments are of interest short term . 2 quid is unlikely certainly in short term but the yield for me is eight per cent which is a reasonable return for the risk . | holts
09/5/2018 11:07 | yump do not bother he is a labour in a super market , thick as they come | portside1
09/5/2018 09:48 | More chance of the Beatles staging a come back than this rubbish getting back to 200p, the gap is to big on these volumes, the big money has already moved out, never to return, the gap down was the spine of the business breaking, things will only get worse, it’s a simple choice to me Saga is on the road to ruin & Centrica is the path to salvation IMO GLA DYOR | mercer95
09/5/2018 09:00 | The chairman O’Sullivan has no experience in this sector & the brand is still deemed as old fashioned by a lot of the older generation, the small profit they made will disappear by the next trading update, surely a utility company would be a safer long term bet,for example Centrica, paying 8p ex dividend tomorrow, expecting a good trading update next week due to extended winter & cost cutting, steady cash flow, much better than this relic of a company. | mercer95
09/5/2018 08:47 | ed next Wednesday 4.30pm 6p | portside1
09/5/2018 08:46 | simple , do not buy then I will just keep buying for the divs the grand children will be happy , 7% very nice . and they will be over 200p next year | portside1
09/5/2018 08:31 | This share is a dog with fleas, the chairman is clueless, the older generation are cutting back on spending now with all the uncertainty about Brexit, pensions, interest rates, increases in health insurance, this is heading for another big fall IMO | mercer95
08/5/2018 22:53 | Booked Saga Cruise?... | diku
08/5/2018 09:22 | ex div 4.30pm on the 16th may 6p very nice , money in the bank is pointless | portside1
