Lordy Lord a prestigious company like Jp Morgan buys 5%,sp goes up on the news ,for three hours..... and guess what normal service has been resumed.
It's a pig,it grunts and is heading for the slicer.

Share price positive today, no one here? Share price collapse because of Monach going bust, over sold by the city as always. Good entry point for people with a ounce of patience.

I am beginning to think it is heading that way as well...one big whoosh down below 100p on bad trading statement....it is currently somehow suckering in buyers on false sense of security...

It seems to have found a base, 111-112. So far, whenever the share price approaches that level it tends to bounce a little. But there's no desire for it to break through the 120 barrier either. So we're stuck in this range. I wouldn't be adding at this stage, because if the next set of results are mediocre or poor the support level will just fall away. Then we could be looking at 80p or less.

AA are much higher leveraged than Saga. Always the possibility of a cut next year, but think this is a good business. Saga have net debt of £0.4bn and AA £2.7bn. Saga actually has higher net profits! I'm happy to hold this.

The notification of the forthcoming appointment of Patrick O'Sullivan as Chairman hasn't exactly sent the share price into orbit - unfortunately. He certainly has plenty of experience in the field, but the market doesn't yet seem to view him as the messiah...

Share price held down since December. Trading at book price. I would be very surprised if a large insurer had not already been sniffing around here and submitted an offer. Very surprised in fact. 3 million customers.

Agree this one should be quite a bit higher, and today's comment by the chairman that business was in line with the previous forecast (rather than the doom predicted by some) should help matters.
