No I am buying in because I truly believe that when they announce their first half results for next year Saga is going to announce a huge bonus from their underwriters as car insurance claims for the elderly dropped massively this year especially under lockdown

Roger dr Haan has lost more than half his money already.

I think there were many shareholders upset at Euan and the board for not even disclosing the 33p offer.

Institutions most likely peed off at the idiot and have been selling out.

De Haan has also timed this very badly.
SP now 8p: his average 18p.

This is getting better by the day, I think there are 3 groups of ii sellers 1 those who were unimpressed by Euan s strategy guff2 longer term holders who bought much higher up and this is now too small within their funds so they just dump 3. Funds seeing redemptions as money exits UK equity funds. It is hard to gauge how long this will continue and as yet we have seen no 3% declarations on the buy side other than the Portuguese chap.

Some very dodgy things going on here with the share price 13% intra day swing on NO NEWS with other travel stocks up like Carnival and IAG.

Someone was very keen to push their sell order through in the closing auction...

Originally placed 178k at 119, they continually amended it lower until it sat at 112ish

It got cleared in the closing UT

Until the overhang from the poorly taken up fund raise is cleared, its hard to see a positive outlook (which will no doubt give certain posters a real stiffy)
