Can anyone tell me why the volume is so low and yet the share price is stable?

i doubt it, i think there is good support at 45-47p and resistance at 51-53p at the moment. there isnt really any reason for the fall from 51-53p other than some profit taking imo holding it back. if there is a general reduction in sp, i would expect that to apply to most ftse 250 companies with uk based earnings.

There we go again....in the space of about 20 seconds, nearly 2p taken off the bid by 15 consecutive AT trades.

Someone really doesnt like SAGA getting near to 50

At least he will have a decent dividend on his latest purchases with current forecasts already being met of £105m to £120m profits, should gives us a divi around 10% on stated dividend policy going forward.

Once upon a time many moons ago Director buying meant something...

Very frustrating - the AT boys smack it down and the bid drops again

Maybe the failure to break 50 again has caused buyer fatigue

Do you get the feeling the blast up is coming...once the weak holders have departed...No Advice Intended as it could go either way...

...and again - up to 50.8 bid then immediately smacked down

Agreed diku - very noticeable that each time it pokes its head above 50p the AT trades go into overdrive and there is immediate downward pressure

Someone no doubt has a sell order in place, however once that is cleared we should make good progress

The chart is still intact but somebody is keeping a lid at 50p...last few weeks/months any rise above 50p and it gets slammed down...if and when it finally breaks out it could melt up to 60p and beyond very quickly...market will be hoping Saga has benefited in some shape or form financially from Thomas cook demise...

Chart technicals, a break through 51p resistance will be important, it opens up a potential longer term move to 125p

Cautious the more nonsense you post the more credibility you lose.

Recent director buys shows confidence, not a bad divi, happy to hold long term at these levels.

Interesting chart. he clearly believes in the business and has increased his holding each time the market took a different view. For him to continue adding at this stage is a good sign that the turnaround is well underway imo.

Good sign - that's the price of ten decent cruises or escorted tours with Saga or Titan just to give it a bit of context.
