08/9/2017 11:48 | from end of March: "So far in 2017 order intake is up 4% against strong prior year comparatives. This broadly reflects the increase in our selling prices and more than offsets the higher raw material costs resulting from the weaker pound following the EU referendum. We have entered 2017 in a market leading position. Moreover, whilst mindful of the uncertainty in the macroeconomic outlook, our strong balance sheet, excellent cash generation and differentiated product offering leaves us well positioned to build on our competitive advantages. The Board remains confident of delivering growth over the year ahead." How quickly things can change ... Still, hopefully this has now re-rated enough | mister md
08/9/2017 11:30 | MSLH to short next | opodio
08/9/2017 11:29 | just a plastic extruder and a pile of jumped up desperate salesmen | opodio
08/9/2017 10:43 | Oversold. Good buy at this price | shaker44
08/9/2017 09:13 | Nice entry price - bought some | mister md
08/9/2017 08:37 | You buy one you get one free. Well almost after that drop..... | keya5000
08/9/2017 08:24 | Missed out on an obvious short here. They were calling me twice a day once I got the quote offering a lower price. Talking you a guy from britelite he told me to quote them any price and safestyle will beat it | mngf
08/9/2017 08:22 | Well looks like the sector is really struggling. Happened at the wrong time for Safestyle given their new facility and double running costs. Oh well, they are still a winner in the sector and will no doubt bounce back. This year will be a tough one though and profitability will be well down. No doubt some of their competitors are having an even more difficult time. Maybe a good time to buy windows! | topvest
08/9/2017 07:28 | So that's two down, one to go? | manics
24/8/2017 19:12 | Was today's dip a read-across from the ENTU news? is the sector overblown? | bscuit
18/8/2017 04:46 | I agree. Next rns will see buyers return. Every year with bad weather and people slow to move house, conservatory sales increase. Same with replacement Windows as the rubbish Windows in New builds give out. Wages may not be increasing for many, but inflation low and historically low unemployment. I wouldn't short SFE!! | shaker44
17/8/2017 17:43 | Well I'm happy to hold. This company is not as cyclical as some as they are largely doing replacement windows. That market should hold up reasonably well through any potential recession. OK they will take a hit, but they should remain very profitable. This year will be difficult but next year the cost savings will help. Can't see the dividend being cut and so should move onwards and upwards at some point nice they move on through this sticky patch. | topvest
17/8/2017 17:31 | Good luck. I averaged down and bought more. I am happy to wait as i feel they are undervalued. | shaker44
17/8/2017 11:27 | Have decided to sell my lot at around £2600. The climb back to where I started looks a long way off. Down about a £1k. Went into Hollywood Bowl with the £2.6k | scooper72
16/8/2017 11:16 | Great. Hope it goes well for you | shaker44
16/8/2017 09:36 | shaker - yes I have | glaws2
09/8/2017 14:00 | My question earlier was whether you accept either of those that quoted!! | shaker44
09/8/2017 12:40 | No shaker - only SFE declined to quote - the other two have provided quotes (to me alone). | glaws2
08/8/2017 16:23 | So all 3 declined to quote. Odd | shaker44
08/8/2017 15:04 | Obviously didn't get my order as they declined to quote. | glaws2
08/8/2017 13:57 | Be interesting to learn if either get your order. Salesmen 'eat what they kill' and quickly learn how to optimise their time/technique. It's a tough job, they are unloved, work unsocial hours often, and get many disappointments before they can bank their commission cheques. | shaker44
08/8/2017 13:30 | Really - didn't seem to be a problem for the other two companies I invited to quote. | glaws2 |
