Yes should be over the worst but we need change the balance of the business away from Tech. Media Monks clearly is the best team which is why everyone wants the business but S4Cap now has the wrong client profile in the current market - Will tech clients ever return to the previous marketing spend levels? Many doubt it.
SMS must know this widely held concern so hopefully it’s just a question of time?
Sell up or adapt the business with new categories?
Lots of business currently being pitched for across the industry.

What's likely IMO is revenue will be down on Q1 2023, & Net Debt likely to have increasing after paying £11.4m in regards to final combination payments carried over from 2023.

The good news will probably be that Q1 likely to be the worst quarter of 2024. & Net Debt will have peaked with past M&A paid up with an indication of a share buyback commencing in the second half of 2024.

Dropping steadily each day, as expected. Then a big fall on Friday.

Don't you wish you put on a short position now, tongosti (as I suggested at the time)?? Not too late, but you really should of put it on in the high 50's!!! This has become a very reliable short after every rally. You just need to wait until tongosti, nige and Auson are super excited and in full ramping mode. Then hold for the inevitable disappointing news.

Auson, your posting on here makes no sense. You have been a non stop bull on here for well over 2 years, over which time the shares have fallen massively. The other main share you were ramping back then was Petrofac pfc, which will be down over 98% since then (when and if it relists). You are a scammer, trying to trick Pi's into buying a terrible investment. Reader's please be careful here, all shares Auson repeatedly posts on are in BIG BIG TROUBLE; Please ignore thumbs up on his posts, they are all part of his scam!!!

Auson
What good is it to generate that amount of revenue if the cost of generating it is higher? It reminds me of some of the railway franchises handing the keys back to the government when they realise they were running the contracts at a loss. The return on capital for S4 is diabolical. This company's foundations is built on sand it seems.

You can't go from £54million to over £1billion revenue in 6 years if profit is the priority.

The point being ad agencies typically do have high intangibles and low property plant and current assets as all they really have is the name and its people.

How much have you made on your fictitious short, shame its not real money hey

auson1

Yes Auson, those companies have all been making good profits and generating lots of cash for 3 decades. And rewarding shareholders.

S4 on the other, is losing cash, making losses since the company started. And no cash for dividends, of course. You guys keep comparing S4 with huge successful companies. They are a distressed stock.

If you have a solid foundation, you can successfully add acquisitions. If those acquisitions add to profits and cash generation, the company prospers.

If you make losses, lose cash, and make acquisitions to grow quickly. It can all crumble like a stack of cards.

Another big sell off at closing auction. Be very careful here!!!

If you look at the P&L here, you will find that Sfor have made a loss every year since they came to market in 2017.

If you look at the balance sheet, you will see that the majority of their assets are intangible (just a value based on goodwill and their brand). Well over £1B are goodwill (over paying for acquisitions) and intangibles (brand). Way more than the net assets value (ie worth nothing without the hot air!).

So what you are buying here is just a lot of hot air and bravado. The acquisitions kept the hot air going until 2022, but this has been in free fall since then. This behaviour has led to complete collapse of groups in the past. Just like a card pyramid!!

Be very careful here. Qtr1 will cause a downturn. The share price action is showing you the way.
