The 6.7p is the interim dividend, chancer.

There is also a 20p special dividend that is payable at the same time, 12th January.

A good steady rise today from RMG, it bodes well for more to come in the next few weeks.

There are a couple of closing gaps in the near vicinity at 533p and 547p which could serve as nice short term target to start the New Year.

All these negatives stories about Hermes (probably their biggest competitor in the UK) should all be good for Royal Mail. I don't think you can overstate the value of a trusted, reliable brand such as Royal Mail.

I'm not too sure, I'm assuming it's been extended as the covid delivery capacity has been expanded to 900,000 a day according to the media. Big article on absenteeism at RMG in the weekend press.

Everyone has got used to being paid in full for shirking from home (SFH) during lockdown.
Difficult to get them working again, nice warm lie in, walking the dog, no commute and most of the day skiving.

A dream come true, the only hope is that efficient corporations will realise that these people are no longer needed.
