21/7/2021 07:33 | The decline in UK parcel volumes (compared with 20/21 seems to have accelerated during the quarter after being robust in April. Agree with TexasPete that it is disappointing the Royal Mail business cannot still give guidance for 21/22 - three and a half months in. Looking for the positives at least there is no comment on staff shortages, high absence rates or a pingdemic - all of which are possible problems RM could face in coming months. UK parcel mix seems positive. GLS seems on track - although y-o-y growth is forecast to decline as comparators get more difficult. 10p div ex next week and 20p div promised for 21/22 should offer support. | jane deer
21/7/2021 07:22 | It's also unusual to compare Q1 figs to 2020 and 2019, it just gives the impression they're trying to sweeten things up a little. That said, I'm sure they will recover in the next few days, looking a good buy if it gets near that 5 quid level. Good luck everyone, Sid. | eaaxs06

20/6/2021 08:26 | To help importers and customs authorities cope with the ballooning volume of low-value consignments..... Low Value Consignment Relief or LVCR ends... 20% WAT on ecommerce This will put a damper on ecommerce volumes across EU (from July 1st) and UK (from January 1st) sales of "low value " items. Should help the high street. | muffinhead
