Should continue to rise until results in May then where it goes from there will depend on the numbers. Which should be good now that the pension is sorted. Target price 750p.

Thanks bartram.

Not sure what to do - last autumn was pretty unnerving.

I joined the club today also and sold 40 percent of my holding having bought at 373p. I'm hoping for 750p for the rest but it's not a profit until you bank it. I bought a few more PERE and TRP.

Hi,

Although I like RMG I decided to take profits, selling the 6000 shares I hold in my ISA. I have added a few more LLOY and opened a new position in MRCH taking advantage of recent price falls and bringing in higher dividend income.

Interestingly my RMG sale does not show up on the trades pages here. I am hoping to buy back at a lower price for my ISA in the new tax year.

The cut-off date used for the quarterly reviews of the FTSE 100 market cap rankings is normally at close of trading on the Tuesday before the first Friday in March, June, Sept, Dec. Next one should be Feb 27th. 2018.

I'm out as of this afternoon - gift horses etc. The cunning plan is to wait for the share price to drop just in time to buy back for the dividend. I don't think it will drop far, so not a capital gain trade - might only make 10% anyway.

Want some cash, there's a few opportunities coming I think.

Too late for me, I accidentally sold all my RMG yesterday at 509p lol!! I had my finger hovering over the SELL button on Youinvest whilst getting a live price and actually touched it by mistake. What a pro I am - NOT! Still, profit banked which is never a bad thing. Good luck all remaining holders, I'll be back in at some point in the future.

Some FTSE100 companies losing value this week, if RMG can hold its price it will easily make it back in.

Hi Oiht,

All in all a very good week for RMG. I had expected a strike and am very pleased industrial action has been averted.

Yep, all those guys waiting for 350p have sadly missed out. Also on a dividend along the way. Happy days.

Blimey RMG up 34% since Nov 1st. low 370p. Currently DS Smith are 90th. in FTSE100 capitalised at £5.434bn meaning that RMG need to rise to about 545p for automatic entry - fasten your seatbelts.

It is funny how at 370-380p the business was finished. Shows how scary the psychology of the market is.

Next stop BAB... seeing as it is in construction and construction is finished.

What price what RM need to re-enter the FTSE100?

bartram23 Nov '17 - 18:50 - 8725 of 8808
For automatic re-entry to FTSE100 a company needs to be 90th. by market cap. That currently means RMG need to be 532p - can't see that happening any time soon.

triple whammy to be fair....

we get a nice acquisition which was a decent surprise.....we kinda guessed that negotiations had gone well and were to be announced as such.....but then we get all sorted and increase in profits.

That's a triple baby. Yeah !!!!

Calm down dears, it was only a 10% rise. The op. profit was a surprise though, unless I've just not looked well enough. Or were you referring to the op. profit ?
