13/12/2019 09:58 | gcom2 I did, and next year I'm saying sub £200 because of the financial implications of having to set up all your trading again will bring and we the public always get swizzled out of money so it would still make that a sound bet. Its just even more sound to do it at these prices as this conservative government has had a land slide victory bolstering it up for now. Also if you read I've never said Labour will win, as I've never thought they would, I expected a hung government with a conservative victory, but I've never spoke of who I think would win, although I did vote labour as I'm fed up of the country going to trash and its been under them that it has. I mentioned unexpected victory like trump but never will you read a blog that says Labour will win. long long term RBS will be good now the threat of been broken up is off the table. | delphiman
13/12/2019 09:51 | still, that said the euphoria could probably last into tomorrow | delphiman
13/12/2019 09:48 | you said labour would win and sell rbs at 220p lol | gcom2
13/12/2019 09:35 | Mally83 Profit taking, as seven weeks today we will be out of the EU and that's a scary thing as well as one of the Target price's on this was reduced from £340 to £280, so until the ratings change they are trading close to the top of the target which isn't often seen, so selling this close to the target would seam a good stance until brexit is over. | delphiman
13/12/2019 09:24 | 48% to 52% people vote, to close to really say what the people wanted looks kind of split to me that minority win, yes the people spoke on something they didn't know about thats why, I didn't expect Boris to get a majority like he has as this is now going to hurt the country so much but I do believe people are sick of brexit, and if its a bad one they will be sick for a long long time because of it, we will now be out by the End of Jan like boris said as he has the majority. Fingers cross we all get to keep our jobs in the recession that coming now. Good day for RBS though, now they will not be broken up. | delphiman
13/12/2019 08:55 | Some people are crazy they are selling there shares now. This will go up I reckon. | mallys83
13/12/2019 08:54 | i said a rise of 10% and its achieved that. Now we wait for the santa rally. What is clear is that now RBS is secure from a destroyed Labour party and nationalisation is now gone! So the shackles are off. We need Brexit sorted and a stonking US trade deal and rest of the world and our banks will fly!! | cfc1
13/12/2019 08:28 | How high will it go today? 275p maybe | mallys83
13/12/2019 08:10 | were the pollsters on drugs with "hung parliament territory"? so wrong yet again. | gcom2
13/12/2019 08:09 | gcom2....LOL.....the public spoke....and yet STILL Anna Soubry bangs on about a peoples vote. Just shows how thick she is...this WAS a peoples vote - loud and clear and shows the oublic battered Labour for blocking Brexit at every single oppty in the HoC! thats the main reason And now we see the back of those miserable creatures that switched sides. Hopefully we will never hear from the rebels ever again! AND WOW RBS SP! | cfc1
13/12/2019 08:06 | Not a bad start to the day here. | leedskier

12/12/2019 22:38 | Nick Robinson just said that Corbyn will have to quit. He's apparently gone to ground, uncontactable for the time being. | polar fox

12/12/2019 22:08 | I've been sitting on my CON maj bet for six long weeks. If the Exit Poll is anywhere near close, my account should be credited with a tidy sum by the time I wake up early tomorrow. Very nice. Brexit by the end of January will be a dead cert. But the possibility of a chaotic No Deal exit by the end of next year will remain in play. | polar fox
12/12/2019 22:07 | The Conservatives are set to win an overall majority of 86 in the general election, according to an exit poll for the BBC, ITV and Sky News. | leedskier
12/12/2019 17:01 | well for RBS share holders lets hope for a clear Tory win as I think we could see 10% on the RBS share price tomorrow and a santa rally to push the stock towards 300 for the NY! | cfc1
12/12/2019 12:13 | Perhaps in reaction to the poll, the bookies have quickly shortened odds across the board, compared with an hour or two ago. 1/4 is back. | polar fox
