15/4/2019 12:38 | I don't know of anyone who was swayed by those claims. Everyone I know are smart enough not to believe what politicians say. My decision for voting leave was completely unrelated to those statements. I also tend to feel that the remain campaign made the most ridiculous claims at the time, and since. | bonda67
15/4/2019 09:52 | The people were misled by the leave campaign....all this talk of huge amounts of funds to be diverted to NHS if we leave will not happen....the people were swayed by these views of leave!!!! | dmf
13/4/2019 13:35 | It's always a difficult choice as to which label to apply to Boris - congenital liar or simply buffoon. Either way, it's obvious why he's the brexiteers' no. 1 for tory party leader. | largeronald
12/4/2019 17:37 | "Telegraph forced to correct false Brexit claim by Boris Johnson Newspaper removes claim but defends MP saying his piece ‘could not be reasonably read as a serious, in-depth analysis’" Add to which he has history for doing this. Wasn't he sacked by the Times for this kind of behaviour? Which makes one wonder why the Telegraph pays him £275K a year for his journalism. | leedskier
12/4/2019 15:52 | Farage...step forward | sarahbudd

12/4/2019 13:27 | 1) Under Tory rules the PM can only be challenged once in 12 months. She was unsuccessfully challenged earlier this year. 2) The Tory party members are given two leadership candidates to vote for. The two candidates are selected by vote(s) of the elected Tory MPs. The majority of Tory MPs may not select Boris as a candidate. 3) I suspect that there are a number of left wing Labour MPs in the wings to replace him. 4) Tory Central Office selects a short list of candidates for each constituency where there is a vacancy. If the local membership attempts to "create" vacancies, Tory Central Office has then power to suspend the local parties. | leedskier
12/4/2019 08:26 | PM is toast. Just never strong enough. Next steps 1) Tory leadership campaign 2) then tell the eu its no deal or OUR deal - Boris the man to sort 3) Corybn exiled 4) HoP ...hmmm kick em out and replace with people that have a clue!! | cfc1

11/4/2019 08:24 | As TM emerged from the aeroplane she waved a piece of paper and announced that the EU had promised that there will be Brexit in her time, to loud cheers from the ERG members waiting to greet her. | leedskier

04/4/2019 15:50 | and RBS deliberately got out of investment banking! It was a mess and they have done a hell of a lot better as they focus in on their core business! | cfc1
04/4/2019 15:28 | ok good...so what exactly will be RBS's problems when Brexit is done? | cfc1
04/4/2019 15:23 | As my son in law is an HSBC trained investment banker in the City, I kind guess I do have a little insight. | leedskier |
