n the latest round of stress tests, the Bank of England said it’s modeling another 40 billion pounds ($50 billion) of misconduct costs over the next four years, and warned that sum could rise if new issues come to light. In 2015 misconduct provisions eliminated 15 billion pounds of pretax profit, about half the total generated across the industry. The largest outstanding misconduct investigation relates to the selling of toxic U.S. mortgage securities, which analysts estimate could cost Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc alone more than 8 billion pounds.

Yes quite right, you have to be careful with all
markets and boards. Like here some have seen an RBS drop
from many pounds per share to equivalent of 20p.

The IWI DAN .338 Bolt Action Sniper Rifle is an Israeli bolt action sniper rifle manufactured by Israel Weapons Industries (IWI). It is named after ancient city of Dan. The rifle is chambered for the powerful .338 Lapua Magnum cartridge and its main purpose is long range sniping, and limited anti-material applications as well. The IWI DAN has sub-MOA accuracy at range of 1200 meters.

The rifle was designed by Dr. Nehamaiya Sirkis with cooperation of the Israel Defense Forces special forces and is manufactured by Israel Weapons Industries and marketed worldwide. The IWI DAN is reportedly used by the elite British commando unit Special Air Service (SAS).

It might change wind if Trump has his way. Needs someone with balls to do it. If it causes risk that could cause another credit crunch who cares, i'm only here to make money short term.

Gcom2,

Thanks.

Thing is, as things stand, I'd expect another stress-test next year and the year after...

Just cranking up the imagined-stress (such that some fail every year), seems to be a long-winded way of achieving not very much. What's the strategy here?

I'd assume the banks will still be unloved this time next year - which is why I hesitate to invest. The regulatory wind needs change direction before I'd take a position.
