Just look at the yield on HSBC and the stock price keeps going up. One of my better investments whilst this dog continues to stagger.

Weak £ boosts exports and puts UK in a better position than the EU. However it puts more pressure on an already ruined EU banking sector. The recent rise in the FTSE is really not normal behaviour when you consider the macro picture and earnings. but it is what it is

BloombergLocal investors have seen the value of their holdings increase as companies including drugmaker AstraZeneca Plc and whiskey company Diageo Plc, which get most of their revenue outside the U.K., rallied after June's secession vote sent the pound tumbling. Remove the currency halo, and the FTSE 100 is still below the level it was at before the decision. That's bad news for overseas investors, if they haven't hedged to account for the sterling effect. North America accounts for 46 percent of all foreign holdings, according to the latest governmentreport published last September.

Hmm I think the City is trying to suck up to TM.

You will recall her comment about the FTSE100 providing a poor return.

All helped by weak currency.

$ Currency adjusted however, it remains very weak.

Have done, EU banks are a problem, but we have weaker currency and a short term oil ramp helping oilers. After such a fast few day rise there I hope should be a pullback. Market has lost all semblance of fundamentals as central banks run the show, so a tight stop loss and if a profit then take it quick
