Take a year to date chart for DB (DBK) and overlay RBS. They track.

The only difference being that RBS has fallen 42.6% whereas DB has fallen 54.10%.

The housing market is split in two halves . Sub 200k for FTB which are affordable with current rates. Over 300k are the movers with high equity. Both are doing well. that article is more rubbish from a luvie libby journalist.

My son-in-law and daughter have more than one des res in the City. They were intending to go big on a purchase earlier this year. Post referendum they pulled out and are now intending to sit on their hands for a couple of years. From what they tell me, they are not alone.
