I would have thought insider trading occurs all of the time.
Amazing that they single out this one guy.
So many people know about the big deals, and their families, mistresses, friends, legal teams, etc etc.

SEC charges Leon Cooperman with insider trading
The top US securities regulator on Wednesday said it has charged Leon Cooperman, the high profile hedge fund manager who leads Omega Advisors, with insider trading.

The SEC alleges Mr Cooperman “generated substantial illicit profits” by buying securities of Atlas Pipeline Partners before the sale of its natural gas processing facility on the basis of inside information he gleaned as one of the company’s biggest shareholders

So W&G deal has fallen through again.
RBS not prepared to give it away at a low price.
but they have been ordered to do it by Europe.
Why do they not do as they are told?

This is a good development.
