16/9/2021 10:37 | Boris running the UK like an old boys'club. Probably thinks he is still spaffing around at Eton. | medieval blacksmith
16/9/2021 10:33 | Back under a quid shortly, net debt here is horrific. Will be broken up and part nationalised and bondholders will take out the rest. The direction of travel with RR is into the dust, UK plc pitiful. Ftse 100 today same price as Dec 30th 1999. Omfg. As an aside, what an EPIC fail Brexit has been, U.K. productivity 20pc lower than French and US and UK about to enjoy the highest taxes for 70 years. Terminal tories. | porsche1945
16/9/2021 10:30 | Don't invest in RR then rogerrail, but IMO this will be massive for RR both in terms of sales and also in terms of design contracts | terminator101
16/9/2021 10:28 | RR have a major (and I mean major) involvement in Nuclear subs. Their plant at Raynesway in Derby designs, builds and services the power plants in all UK nuclear powered subs. They will defo be involved in this deal in a big way........ | pounddreamer
16/9/2021 10:20 | How so? I don't recall RR being involved in any US Nuclear Submarine programmes. If they do have an involvement it is likely to be minor. Having said that, if UK designs have US ip then potential sales to Australia of UK subs would have previously been blocked and that barrier is now removed but its too early to say whether RR will benefit. | rogerrail
16/9/2021 09:12 | This is a massive deal for RR | terminator101
16/9/2021 09:08 | Will it test 120 again? | idandy

16/9/2021 07:57 | US & UK to support Australia to build nuclear submarines, replacing contract with France for diesel subs. Unclear what role RR will play if any but it seems positive. | middletp1
15/9/2021 09:52 | The general drop following the Dow seems to have hit aviation more than most. Jet2 down as well. | chavitravi2

12/9/2021 11:31 | The true value of RR is what others would pay to acquire it if they were allowed. It would be way above todays market value. Over the last 30 years RR must have generated about £500bn for the UK economy. Well paid high tech jobs, great products for defence and air transport and many other socially useful power units. This wealth goes into NHS Housing holidays cars food clothes and the rest. The only losers seem to be the shareholder owners. | careful
12/9/2021 11:15 | Torygraph - China boosts stake in UK with London shares spree Rolls-Royce said: 'China is an important market for our civil aerospace and power systems businesses and so it is gratifying that China's central bank sees our shares as a good investment' Experts said it was uncommon for central banks to own shares. The Bank of England owns bonds as part of its QE programme but does not own any stocks. | grafter
12/9/2021 09:41 | Sky NewsCOVID-19: Sajid Javid says he wants to ditch PCR tests for travellers 'as soon as I possibly can'At present, passengers returning from green list countries, or amber list destinations if they are fully vaccinated, must take PCR tests on or before day two after they arrive in England. | reviewwworld
10/9/2021 16:03 | Dow is well down, bloody yanks again taking us with them. | chavitravi2
10/9/2021 12:13 | This better be a tree shake | mbmiah |
