25/7/2024 09:58 | I reckon we could end the day blue. Mind you I see Tesla as being the biggest in the world soon. That's if it keeps Elon. I believe he will produce the iphone killer with the Tesla imusk phone (home) all linked up to skylink. Global coverage one supplier. Then there is so much more. | vikingwarrier
25/7/2024 09:40 | I bought £5k (1150 shares) at 432p at 09:33 I'm also hoping these will be climbing by lunchtime or certainly after 2:30pm | mcunliffe1
25/7/2024 09:25 | VW, there was a fairly wide spectrum sell off in the USA yesterday , we are not far off correction territory. They are now starting to predict a .5% interest rate cut next month | noramping
25/7/2024 09:00 | Tesla's poor figures dragging the market down.Either we shall be climbing by lunchtime or it will be tomorrow. In the meantime sit on your hands or go for a walk. | vikingwarrier
24/7/2024 19:39 | FYI Mr newbie, I don't dislike RR , far from it, I have been following RR since 2012, most of the time as an investor, and I dont intend to change that anytime soon.If you don't like my comments which are in fact more positive than negative I suggest you reseve your posts to something you have a smidgen of understanding in? | rogerrail
24/7/2024 18:37 | Last divi was 6th Jan 2020. They stopped because of Covid and lack of profitability that went along with the lack of airline travel. It is hoped that as they reduce debt, and having received credit ratings from some of the agencies, but not all I believe, dividends may come back once that major final credit rating agency, whose name I cannot recall, gives its rating. I'm guessing here, have no real knowledge, but a token dividend in 2025 would work wonders I would think for the share price - beyond the value of the divi itself. It would be a marker in the sand so to speak. All IMO of course. | mcunliffe1
24/7/2024 18:20 | MC1, I’m the same , can’t remember ever getting a dividend | noramping
24/7/2024 16:47 | MCUNLIFFE1 you are correct, I was referring to Easyjet lol | cevodniya
24/7/2024 15:56 | Not from RR you didn't Cev. My grandkids have held RR since 30 Nov 2021 and have yet to receive any dividend from those shares. | mcunliffe1
24/7/2024 15:34 | smurfy2001, why would a dividend be a surprise. I received one in February of this year. You know they paid out 10% of net profit and have guaranteed 20% for 2024. I really don't understand your post | cevodniya
24/7/2024 15:17 | EasyJet anticipates a record-breaking summer this year after the airline posted higher profits on soaring demand. | smurfy2001
24/7/2024 15:09 | Something has dragged this one down today could it be a seller ? | pal44
24/7/2024 14:59 | I think a dividend would be a welcome surprise. | smurfy2001
24/7/2024 14:58 | Always a big supporter of RR. but the recent valuation reaching £40bn was far too high. Cooled off a little since, but next Thursdays results will be important. A lot going for RR in recent times. Making good money from installed engine base and lower overheads. Crazy post Covid demand. Gross profit margin vs turnover is at record levels. I thought Turfan was ramping up the share price a little too aggressively. Hope the run continues, momentum seems to be all in todays markets. | careful
24/7/2024 14:49 | Unlikely. The bulls will stay with the tangible future earners, which are aviation and defence. | lyqwyd
24/7/2024 14:49 | Before anyone rushes into the SMR element for RR. Just think for a moment about where they will be placed. Sure next to current nuclear sites but not in some NIMBYs golden crested Newt reserve. It kind of limits the roll out. Add to this the Armed Atomic Police force who will have to be on every site and its not as straight forward as some here believe. | vikingwarrier
24/7/2024 13:59 | SMR cost/revenue/profit/ | eigthwonder
24/7/2024 13:38 | Agreed. Can't understand why everyone is banging on about this, when the expenditure and profitability is as yet undefined. Historically, power generation has a very questionable cost and profitability record. | lyqwyd
24/7/2024 13:30 | IMHO, SMR news is not imminent, it’s one for the future. | noramping
24/7/2024 12:46 | Interesting top level push-pull on the shares of this one. The card the bulls want turned up is marked "SMR" and they're beholden to the new government and the civil service on that one. On the other hand, the share price suggests steady gentle profit taking as money moves on to the next best idea. Without a positive SMR announcement I can picture the shares lower. | eigthwonder
