12/3/2020 14:46 | Topped up again at £6.82 two nice entry points today :) | puffet
12/3/2020 14:29 | In the RNS dated 7/1/20 (which now seems like a lifetime back) the information was: 'RockRose carries out an active hedging programme to ensure liquidity for planned capex. Currently it has hedged 455,000 bbl of oil at US$65.70/bbl for the first quarter of 2020. In addition, RockRose has hedged 1,800 Gwh of gas production for 2020 at a price of €18.05 per Mwh. This is equivalent to ~63 million therms at ~45p per therm using an exchange rate of €1.18 to £1 | rik shaw
12/3/2020 12:07 | So...anyone knows how much oil is hedged ? | costax1654x
12/3/2020 11:32 | Gilead, one of many R&D co's searching for a vaccine. GSK, AZN, Roche, Abbott, J&J all hoping for a result but best guess is any/all of them will come good.....in 18 months - 2 years time. Producing an effective vaccine isn't quite as simple as it was in Jenner's day, also the reason 'flu shots are only 30% effective. Short term, Covid-19 will decimate stocks through media-perpetrated fear. The chances are 80% of us will catch it and 0.5-1% will die. Bloody Chinese and their bizarre eating habits. | yertiz
12/3/2020 11:21 | dhb368: Look at Gilead Sciences (GILD): Working with WHO on cure: DYOR | 1vrod
12/3/2020 11:15 | I have dipped a bit more than a toe in. Seems to me from the video of a couple of days ago AA is mightily p'd off that the valuation is being hammered like it is. Don't know whether an accelerated whitewash approach would be allowed - more usually associated with a quick equity placing. Would take AA above 30% but if requested I'm sure Cav and the other big holders would support. Interesting times. | thedudie
12/3/2020 10:48 | Anley the Bear market started 3 weeks ago! This isn't the drip drip of bad corporate news that signals the start of a long decline. The reversal of this trend will come from news outside of the markets and so will behave very differently to a 'Bear Market' and reverse very quickly when it does. When CV is more understood and seemingly in decline AND POO moves north of $40 again it will be over in a day. Would love to be holding stock of the company that announces a vaccine trial. | dhb368
12/3/2020 10:24 | Shell yield currently 11.5% | fardels bear
12/3/2020 10:22 | The Bear Market has started but this time a fall of 50% could be forecast. Oil/Gas out of favour and why not RRE to yeield 10% where Shell yield 9%......which one would you choose? | anley
12/3/2020 09:25 | dividend raised to 100p for 2020 would be a strong statement at little cost | russiaguru
12/3/2020 09:24 | Can't see a special divi of £5 in present survival environment of battening down the hatches Dana. That would be a little imprudent perhaps. | spawny100
12/3/2020 09:19 | It's a hard call, but I think that this must be the bottom. I think that AA will pull a rabbit out of a hat in the results in the week commencing the 23rd of March.Whether it is a takeover announcement or a special dividend of say £5 per share I have no idea, but whatever it is is I don't think that we will be disappointed. | danawinner
12/3/2020 09:06 | Smell the fear. Buying time for those that want to make money | money4me
12/3/2020 09:00 | +11% in Paris. I thinks once the "sheep scrambling" ends, the share price will fly. | fuji99
12/3/2020 08:55 | For petes sake Nigel get out while you still can. | blueball
12/3/2020 08:51 | I don't think we've seen the end of it yet. | fardels bear
12/3/2020 08:48 | I tweeted 2 weeks ago when some popular wag was saying that markets we at a deep buying level back then, that I disagreed and that I would wait until this covid-19 outbreak was declared a pandemic by the WHO, as my signal to load up. Hence I have my strong, weatherproof buying boots on this morning. GLA. | divmad
12/3/2020 08:43 | Glad to hear it. | nigelpm
12/3/2020 08:42 | I've lost all respect for you Nigel. | blueball
12/3/2020 08:39 | For me, the size of the daily falls are still keeping all stocks in sell territory for me. The good drop same as the bad when panic sets in. The time of the true bargains is not yet to hand. | fardels bear
12/3/2020 08:36 | Yes, of course I'm worried but risk:reward is starting to look very decent here. | nigelpm
12/3/2020 08:24 | Not worried about decom and future liabilities now Nigel? | tomg23
12/3/2020 08:16 | Am in £6.90 will continue to add as opportunities arise. | puffet |
