The deferred tax liability is one for the lawyers IF the FIG insist they are owed £59.6m.
This paragraph is clear imo

As RKH did not benefit from all the huge carries it should follow that those elements of the carries are "irrecoverable"

You can not tax any entity on a benefit that they did NOT actually receive.

MOODY obviously thinks the same as he stated in the linked presentation. from 9 mins 47 secs

Hey leggyboy look at the share price dripping back already and it will continue its fall on Tuesday. Reason ?, because nobody trusts the fkrs on the bod to do the right thing for the company. Once money arrives in account who knows but any froth wont last long and we will be in limbo under 20p for a long time. You see, the markets don't like the company but like/trust Sam even less. Some content I posted yesterday;

The CGT deferred tax liability to the FIG is really not certain , imo.

Whilst the Company is entitled to benefit from the full Exploration Carry from Premier during the 2015/16 campaign, no adjustment in the tax liability has yet been recorded as this is subject to agreement with the Falkland Islands' Commissioner of Taxation."



I believe this sum relates to the value in the 'old' carry arrangements with PMO where they carried RKH for hundreds of millions of development costs.

The paragraph above suggests, imo, that , if the carries disappeared ;so would the tax liability.

It seems MOODY and his legal team have a similar view to me as you will hear at 9 mins 47 secs here;



RKH thinks the Tax liability should fall away.

Duckdown. As you already know you are wasting your time. The DELUDED Noboil is always wrong but will never admit it. It was quite obvious due to the length of the arbitration we had won but as you point out sooooon or imminent cannot be defined at 39 months which it was the first time she alluded to knowing more than the CEO of Rockhopper. Ultimately she was proven WRONG as 39 months is neither sooooon or imminent. Her latest guess is they will pay up derrrrrr of course they will as the case is a tight as a ducks rear end. So not really a great prediction again. Now to avoid answering your questions she pretends to have you on filter like me. However she still replies to my posts despite apparently having me on filter. Which again proves another lie. I’m sure now every reader knows it except for Fakey aka garbled aka Falklandi etc etc who’s too stupid to realise it. If you don’t remember Nigoil I had a bet with you in January 2021 that there would be no Ombrina Mare news by June 2021. Your twitcher mates insisted there would be. They were wrong, you were wrong and they were 14 months out on that particular bet.

You’ve been saying for 2.5-3 years that OM news is “imminent̶1; or “soon”. But you never actually say what that means - because you and your twitcher mates are consistently wrong.

So why don’t you let us know what “promptly̶1; means so that we can judge you again. You won’t, because you don’t know. “Promptly̶1; could mean 1 month, 6 months or 12 months and you will try to claim you were right no matter what.

Try to be honest and admit you’re just guessing/hoping or actually have some minerals for once and tell us what “promptly̶1; means.

I won’t hold my breath.

I think Italy will pay but might not be prompt. Eurobor +4% is lower than Italian sovereign borrowing costs.

It's a relatively small sum on a Sov state level.

Can't see Italy refusing to pay. If they do RKH can pursue through Italy's own courts. With interest adding daily I imagine Italy will just cough up. Another 200m to their debt is peanuts anyway!
