JonC seems your not the sharpest tool in the box after all as I said profitable bits and loss-making bits! Not all parts of every business is lost marking or 100% profit making hence the cherry picking part plus who sells out 16p and then brags about it when the share price is almost 3 times that now
JonC notice in the link below it says "has acquired certain assets of RadiumOne Inc" not all the company but certain parts and I doubt they will be buying the unprofitable bits unless you was in charge

StockMarketWire.com - RhythmOne has acquired certain assets of RadiumOne Inc, a data-driven marketing platform. It also confirmed President Edward Hastings would succeed Subhransu Mukherjee as CEO, effective 19 July 2017.

The company said the RadiumOne transaction was signed and closed after market hours on 26 June 2017.

The acquisition accelerated the company's strategy to build a unified programmatic platform with unique audiences of uniform quality at scale.

Through RadiumOne, 1R gained access to a leading data driven marketing platform, unique consumer insights, audience segmentation and targeting technology, and premium demand relationships, which were expected to impact positively both pricing and fill rates on the 1R platform.









Polythene I think I was a bit like you when I read the RNS's this morning but on reflection this afternoon I've become more positive and yes it is more jam tomorrow but it seems now after restructuring the business and making it stable they have a idea on how to get to the next level using M&A strategy

Folks, can't say I'm a neutral view as I own a shed load but it is more jam tomorrow. I suspect Brian is gone because it wasn't happening fast enough but lack of detail in the TU means it isn't happening. Hopefully that's a 'yet'. The vagueness is because there is nothing new to report.

What are you talking about.

The RNS refers to adjusted EBITDA. There is no mention of profits measured on the basis of normal accounting standards.

Adjusted EBITDA is a loss by another name.

JonC the troll returns if you bothered reading the RNS or attended the AGM you would realise we have required the profit making parts of the business which we can integrate into our platform quickly whilst ditching the loss-making parts and carrying over 3 to £4 million in debt that they have, what the RadiumOne deal gives us is a presence in Asia which we didn't have as you quite rightly say a very large sales team looking for somewhere to place their ads

the strategy seems to be like the RadiumOne deal today buying companies on the cheap and only transferring the profitable parts over.


They have paid a lot to take on 200 staff? and a loss making entity.

So the strategy seems to be buy expensive loss making assets.

What a bunch of loons.

stocky - Brian said low single digits for fill rate which was taken to mean well below 5%.

But what you got to remember now is the size of our reach now 1% of 1000 is only 10, 1% of 70,000 is 700 and Dan kept emphasising about the size of the reach and it's not about the feel percentage increasing much but they do want to but the size of the market/pond now which makes that same percentage a lot not more
