I haven't been keeping track recently but noticed today that there are only 7 jobs now being listed on the Redt website do at least 3 more positions filled since I last looked. Hopefully all the sales roles and installers!!!! Must be due some more news soon re G2 orders - last news was 2 weeks ago and that was re the G1 RNLI machine.

Thanks Dig and pug. There haven't been many intelligence posts on here since I joined and it's good to know who knows his onions. I find it reassuring that the table indicates a general acceptance of the technology. Now its down to the RedT advantages of design and the ability to elbow into the market.

Agreed cheek. The share price appears to get bashed and dropped on tiny volumes. The market doesn't want to let this get back above 10p at moment.

what is interesting is that the company,s with the most funding are the ones struggling to survive.. Vionx have been very quiet for the last 2 years, they have had no updates, they are waiting for something or someone...I do have a theory..

The thing is things change fast and this is now out of date..what you are after is cost per Kw of each manufacturer, I do not think that is available at the moment, every company keeping tight lipped...

But Imergy are no longer with us, they went to the wall last year...

Funny how quick this share drops when no volume! Wish it would go up as quick when we see a few buys!!!

I understand there are several Vanadium redox battery manufacturers. Does anyone have a succinct comparative chart comparing product and company?

The ferry pilot I talked to on the way to two Scottish islands had had solar panels put in. He said the price had fallen and they followed the sun automatically. That day the sun had had power from 5 30 til 9. I started to think about RedT! You can, I read, "over" specify solar panelling .... this surely makes storage at any given price level more and more sensible?Capture seven times more power than you need for three hours a day become a power for free location and export surpluses most of the year?

Where and who mines and purifies Vandium? It's probably the case that this industry is in its infancy and it would be interesting to know what other technologies are competing against vandium. I watched a presentation a couple of years ago by an energy expert at MIT? Who talked of similar technology but I don't recall that it was vandium that was the electron supply.

Mr. Robert Friedland is the recipient of the 2017 Northern Miner's Lifetime Achievement Award, and when the legendary mining billionaire offered his rare insights on vanadium in a recent interview with The Northern Miner, I paid my full attention. Mr. Friedland stated:

"We think there's a revolution coming in vanadium redox flow batteries," he says. "You'll have to get into the mining business and produce ultra-pure vanadium electrolyte for those batteries on a massive scale.

We're very deeply interested in how you store electrical energy in the grid.

The beauty of the vanadium redox battery is that you can charge and discharge it at the same time, something that can't be done with a lithium battery. With a vanadium redox flow battery, you can put solar power and wind power into the battery, and you can put excess grid power into the battery at night, and at the same time you can have a stable output into the grid."

Jabil have a manufacturing unit in Pune India so well placed to take advantage of the Indian contract, plus only Flow Machines will last the 25 years, Lithium 10 years max....
