They wouldn't dare to issue more shares to LNe. Its possible they could announce a funding solution for Rathlin I suppose but how believable would that be ?

I thought the big boys could vote in person on the day? or have I got that wrong?

PS I hope you are right - I wont be happy if they suddenly issue more shares to LNenergy or issue an RNS saying a deal with rathlin is imminent

if RBD hopes to sway the vote with a last minute financing solution for Rathlin, they're cutting it fine. still do-able but not long to go

There looks to be interest in the area, an exploration rig is five miles off the coast from West Newton, its been in the general area for six months. Don't have any RBD at the moment.

My take on the hapless duo is they need to do something that shows their alignment with the shareholders. A temporary salary cut of 50% for 12 months would be the easiest gesture ( see phc where all board members are taking options rather than salary for 12 months). Their track record has been woeful and they don't seem to accept that their recent transaction was only ok and not evidence of their strategy being amazingly successful. We do know that with the positions they have things could change quite quickly. IMO Proposed new bod look a worse proposition. All imo dyor

I agree WN is paramount but to progress it Rathlin needs funding. My worry is that if/when they get it it may be highly dilutive to RBD. The only alternative is for us to step in which will leave us a little short. Another reason why I think CS is folly.

Strange that Malcy doesn't pose the all important question to the well paid duo about the share price performance, which is important, as it's why I bought the shares in the first place,to make money.

Sadly the current team have been at the helm as the share price tanks
The RBD I hold are down 75% within the past two years and that's only after the recent bounce as a result of the KS motions.

Perhaps the S&S fanclub haven't had the same share price experience. Lucky them.

Its about.......... West Newton, West Newton, West Newton

Follow the money, not the hype. |If that lot get this company the share price will instantly tank. Any nonsense about the City liking this new lot wanting to barge in now there is some money and WN is a spit away, is just rubbish. The false claims that have been made in the name of those wanting to take over is scandalous.

Those who have not seen Malcys interview with the two boys, should.

Anyone who has not re-read and studied the West Newton prospectus, or details on the website really should. It is so easy to forget how Big West Newton is and how much larger it could become after testing flow. Corelabs have assured flow with diesel, thicker than the viscosity we should trap into.

Even thinking of voting in, these crabs, is a bullet for our share price for months perhaps years while the new lot strip it all out. We get stuffed. That is the smaller shareholders. The larger shareholders know which side their bread is buttered on and hae voted against all resolutions. They pay good money to researchers to study exactly this type of predatory takeover.

New money stream shortly from Italy??? further development is to be funded from revenue, I cant see RBD receiving a dividend for at least 4 or 5 years. Selling shares may be an option, especially if LNe lists on AIM, other than that it's all smoke & mirrors.

Squiresquire I'm with you. I've voted against the resolutions. In my book they should've at least put a bid on the table with a premium to the share price
The people on the LSE BB whinging and moaning all the time, they do more damage than good. If I didn't like the management or how it run i'd sell up and move on buy something else.I know it's hard to take a loss but it's better than mourning every time they post. They never have anything good to say about the company. There have been some bargains about. I've averaged down a couple of months ago and bought some more at.85p.

Thank MonetExcellent interview, dont mind those hired to knock the hell out of RBD so a new BOD can take over to carry out their schemes. This whole attempt to take us out with no premium being paid just stinks, i have voted against the resolutions and will stick with the two who have got us this far,

RNS Reabold Resources PLC ISS Supports the Board of Reabold.

For those who have not seen it yet

Malcy is joined today by Stephen Williams and Sachin Oza to discuss the latest updates.

Reabold Resources
I have written a number of articles recently about the company including yesterday regarding progress at Colle Santo. This morning I was fortunate enough to speak to them both through Core London Studios and the link to the interview is below.

In the interview they summarise the requisition process and what the requisitioners want, when asked about Daybreak they explained to me about the whole situation about Kam Sattar and Andrea Cataneo and how they were involved there, which I didn’t know and their situation there with regard to attempted corporate activity.

They also updated in some detail about Colle Santo which is now fully updated and about West Newton where plans for drilling in 2024 are very much under way.

We discussed that Andrea Cataneo has been put forward as CEO of Reabold even though he is already CEO of Zenith which they claim must be a conflict, and I can see that the Chairman of Zenith has also been nominated to the Reabold board, again a breach of corporate governance in their eyes.

Overall they gave a detailed and thorough analysis of where Reabold is at the moment and that with the current board they will achieve their programme, not something that could happen if the board was replaced.

Almost at West Newton? permission expires in June, meanwhile not a word from Rathlin who are £6m short on financing. RBD doesnt have the cash to fund their 1/6 and Rathlin's £6m shortfall - even if a financial solution is found I doubt there is time to meet the June deadline unless a rig has been booked.

These guys are trying to mug RBD in broad daylight. Our two may not be liked but WN was not their fault. Victory was a success even though we wanted more but they got it sold and the money is helping drill WN.

Now along come some chancers who have no comparative experience to our BOD yet these chances are trying it on again and flooding these boards with lies and crop through gullible idiots like Heidi.

For heavens sake get real, we are almost at West Newton and voting for this rabble who want to take over is simply far far too dangerous to contemplate. Mark my words if these parasites change the board the share price will tank to hell.

That's the how but not the why.

There are intermittent denunciations on this board of, let's say, the two main present incumbents, but at least lately I see no articulation of their demerits -vs- the alleged merits (or demerits for that matter) of the would-be incomers/replacers. Surely if anyone is serious about influencing a decision they'd be marshaling the arguments, but I don't see that.
So ignoring this thread and a bit more focus on DYOR seems in order, for me at least.
