the new teams plan

"Our number one operational priority, on taking up
executive positions at Reabold, will be to get West
Newton drilled"

Their defence is pretty much a rehash of last year's although I believe they're far more worried this time. As they should be.
They just won't accept the consequences of their woeful decision making.

what puzzles me is why Reabold can issue new shares AFTER it has accepted a valid requisition but before the resolutions have been voted upon. I have googled this and it seems to be perfectly ok, the law appears to allow a company to move the goal posts - in this case in favour of the incumbents as they are the geese that lay the golden eggs for the owners of the new shares ie LNenergy directors

Taken to its logical conclusion, if a meeting was requisitioned by shareholders specifically to stop a corporate action, that corporate action can proceed after the valid requisition but before a vote, in fact it may be that the company could expedite the corporate action to precede the vote.

Do my eyes deceive me, or have I just seen two voting instruction tables at my online broker in the first of which the Board's recommendation is "for" [sic] the resolutions to be moved at the EGM! The second states "against".
LOL! Worth owning just for the entertainment value.
Fwiw my online broker states to vote, I must do so by 5 January (though a PM received there states 4th...).

I'm sure they will law. The apparent lack of DD seems to be shocking.
When it comes to CS it seems so murky I can see KS & co taking legal action to recover funds & shares if they get in.

I hope the big shareholders are reading all the docs coming from KS - it's hard to see
how anyone can trust these guys any more. Of course one way they could secure their future is to buy another big slice of LNe for new RBD shares, they already have 1.3 billion, another billion will do it!

How can the 2 scumbags possibly survive ! They now have zero credibility & I'm pretty sure some other tidbits are still to be revealed.

the colle santo ownership history released on Friday by KS makes interesting reading. I had a good feeling about CS at first although I was very concerned by the deal structure. Having read KSs documents and in light of 1.3 billion shares apparently transferred from LNenergy to its 3 directors, the whole thing stinks. If KS & Co do win the vote, I think there will be some unpleasant surprises in the next Finals

Sleveen maybe Cattano would be but I don't see how. Besides which we've been lied to enough & we're now finding out more about the dreadful decisions the 2 slimeballs have made.

thanks steel.

fyi letter said deadline is 8th Jan "however your broker will have a much earlier deadline for submitting votes, likely falling during the Christmas holiday period so please vote as soon as possible and in any event by no later that 29th December to ensure your vote is counted"

very nice of them to give me a heads up, I will email hsbc this weekend to instruct them to vote in FAVOUR OF ALL RESOLUTIONS

law - not heard anything direct as yet, but had similar a few years back with another company trying to fend off a hostile insurgency of a similar nature. Spoke to the FD at the time and he admitted getting individual contact details for nominee accounts was costly. It proved effective first time around, but ended up with a compromise deal. Sadly, although I was well out of it shortly after the compromise, it looks as though shareholders hanging on were stiffed in the end.

I received a letter direct from Reabold this morning, regarding the vote - I have a nominee account with hsbc so I am not on the share register. Any idea how they obtained my address?

PS sent 1st class Large Letter which is much more expensive than letter post - at least they are not wasting their own money!

Starting the tick up from here as they did sell shares to Lne for.184 so bodes well that they accepted this surely they would have been better buying in the market This stock is being held down on good news
