Its quite good, better than hoped for. The reserve report for Smith is here. People saying that they cannot get reserves for a single well but the entire field is required. lol. What a load of nonsense. Its all in there. 215Bcf + liquids for the P3 of the lease area that is for Smith-1 and the surrounding area that requires appraisal drilling. Then we get the migration on the new experts on the thread that are predicting that we should be valued on P3 reserves! We are given the P2 of the Smith-1 well with our 25% wi. Its a very respectable 6Bcf and 1mmbbls of condensate and oil from this single unstimulated well. That's the current P2 of the field at present. Now the next appraisal well is likely to convert more of this P3 into P2. Certainly a very promising start for RRL and its reserve position. I'd imagine that most of this hot money will have moved on before we even spud the next Chapman well in the next week or so.

this announcement came out earlier in Australia and are trading at 4.5p over there 25 million shares turned over. Why pay 5.75p over here?

guys - the prices on advfn must be wrong?? up 1.5 to 5.75p would mena a close of 4.25p yesterday but we closed at 5.25p yesterday - am i missing soemthing?

Look as I said in my earlier post. The report was for the North Chapman Ranch.

It is possible to have 215 Bcf of gas reserves in the North Chapman Ranch and it could all come from one well that is not partly owned by RRL. The report does not mean RRL will have 20 or 25% of everything lifted from the ground. There are many players in the North Chapman Ranch.

What you need and want is a reserve report for Smith #1.

For the umpteenth time. How much frigging oil/gas has Smith #1 got?

True. You could sell 1mln at 4.9p early doors! Give it a couple of hours once the analysts have gone over this then you'll have some real interest on the back of recommendations that come out.

I think that early dip was MMs trying to get their hands on some shares before the rush so they can sell at the higher price.
