CNF: you are probably wasting your breath with regards to PW, as no doubt he's been shorting, and will do absolutely anything to suggest the company is doing badly. But does anyone really believe today's news was bad? I seem to recall not too long ago him suggesting there would be NO reserve report.

I would suspect he is smarting this morning, and hence the need for disinformation.

Post by all means but don't make or imply threats against other posters. Subscribers validated or unvalidated had the right to cast their opinions without fear, terror or being financially crippled for life.

I will say no more on this subject.

"Now off with you."

lol ironic post mr white, trying to silence a RRL holder when you just posted to support free speech. Sorry chap I'm not going anywhere. I haven't told you to leave the thread. A mix of opinions is healthy. I just suggested that you may not want to keep libellous posts regarding a listed company in print. Tis up to you. Don't worry I'll happily address your misconceptions so that holders don't miss out on the facts.

Phillis,

Yes free speech is available but to be giving financial advice as FACT without a disclaimer isn't esp as you have stated you are qualified.

Pwhite,

That is where you are getting confused. North Chapman Ranch project area, the entire lease area for RRL is RRL 25%, Crest 75%, Others have a backin right for 5% of RRL. RRL have 25% of Smith-1 the first well on this North Chapman Project area, after the other party backin they have 20% of all future wells drilled on this lease area (a working interest/wi). You will find that the report is for the lease area that is owned by all jvps. Your theory that RRL have ownership of 25% of the area and Crest 75% is wrong. Its a working 25/20% working interest over the entire lease area, the land area isn't divided out on an ownership basis. If anyone is in any doubt about the working interest RRL has in this area just contact the company or read all of the news releases. Most here will be aware of how wi's work for lease areas. PWhite has in the past confessed to not being an oil investor and is making serious errors on the wi Range has in this project and passing them on as fact.

7.2 cents ( close bid in Aus ) divided by 1.65 ( exchange rate ) = 4.36 p.

You clearly haven't read the terms by which you use these boards PWhite.

And likewise are not aware of court cases that have involved people posting deliberate lies about companies and their announcements on message boards.

Carry on if you wish. Freedom only goes so far.

Problem is Mercier and Camier that if you'd bought some stock instead of constantly moaning then you'd have doubled your money.

We live in the United Kingdom. People have fought and died for the right to free speech. We are not posting on a bulletin board in China or Zimbabwe.

Now off with you.

Pwhite,

Another dangerous and libellous post towards a listed company. As you're a subscriber and have given your payment details to ADVFN they know who you are. I get the impression that some close to the company may read these boards. Nothing wrong with posting negative opinion about a company you don't hold, it happens all the time on these boards, but going too far could have financial implications for you.

"2. The reserve report released this morning is specifically about smith-1 and the surrounding lease area, not someone else's concession."

No it is not. The reserve report released this morning concerns itself with the entire North Chapman Ranch project and all other parties who have a stake in it including Crest.

Indeed the report goes as far as breaking down Ranges' potential reserves.

What you are suggesting in point 2. Is that the whole 215 Bcf is the sole property of RRL when in fact it is not.

Pwhite,

If I were you I would seriously review your posting this morning as it could potentially lead you into very hot water. Continually posting wrong and misleading information isn't a very good idea.

1. the lease area that RRL are involved in is known as the North Chapman Rannch project. Smith-1 and all current/future Texan wells by RRL are on/in the project area (unless they acquire another project).

2. The reserve report released this morning is specifically about smith-1 and the surrounding lease area, not someone else's concession.

3. "Set out below is Range's attributable interest in the gross recoverable
reserves on 25% of the Smith #1 well and on 20% of the remaining wells assuming the exercise of certain clawback provisions by joint venture partners occurs following the success of the Smith #1 well:"

Its interesting that the P3 assigned to Smith-1 is quite high, must be on an assumption that if the well stimulation works it will open up this additional possible reserve.

Phillis,

I also happened to notice that you have adjusted your tone with regards to your posts from posting as FACT to "you poor investors need to press them on Smith #1"

Why is this?
