Bid price in Aus at the moment is 75 cents,up from previous close of 60 cents,up 25%.

ASX has a pre-market session from 07:00am to 10:00am AEST and a normal trading session from 10:00am to 04:00pm.Update should come before 1am our time so they can start trading again,re their trading update.Who's staying up till we get it?

Sorry still all "politic'd up" as have been watching all the news stations (sad I know). I'd like to see a Tory-Labour pact and see claggy and his cronies demolished. Even though I voted tory, I quite like darling, think he's been far better than Brown in number 11. And Milly comes across very well as foreign sec. But that aint never gonna happen. Shame we can't vote the various members of cabinet instead of a party. Also I'm quite in favour of basic tax back to 25%. The UK markets would be much more solid then.

Now if only RRS did an RKH/GKP, I wouldn't care less who was in charge.

well seems i have been corrected then. Gosh a 10am start in Oz is really quite lazy!! lol These antipodeans all tell us they have mowed the lawn by 0645 and then are straight off to work!!

Sounds more like another few fozzies at last orders and then fall out of bed at half 9!!

Oh well, back to Dirty Harry, possibly my fav movie of all time!!!

that was my understanding Eddie. if you go on the stockness site, the Aussie exchange at 07.24 has released a test RNS. They appear to do this every morning prior to any actual RNS releases.

I therefore suggest that they are now open for potential news releases ie their 07.00 is our 23.00 and whilst the market is not open yet to trade, it is open for news releases. Happy to be corrected but that is how it seems to me.

Trading begins at 10:00am on ASX, it's currently 08:22. 1am here is correct, but orders may be placed from 07:00 (22:00 here).

Let's hope the price rises quickly over there or we'll get screwed by the arbitrage again tomorrow morning.
