30/4/2010 10:40 | I'm hoping for reserves similar to the Mobil David field. Should that turn out to be the case then I can't see the partners waiting around too long before further wells go down. I doubt 10p Sagem, more likely 6p with 10p coming after further wells/zones are online. Cash | cashandcard
30/4/2010 10:38 | If they are short of stock and the results expected are a commercial result this share price will rocket to 10p immediately on TUESDAY. | sagem

30/4/2010 09:48 | sagem, go easy on the soda with your whiskey otherwise the gas might be earlier than expected. | ram6ler
30/4/2010 09:46 | SAGEM, you just have to go back and read the RNS on Smith#1, the increase of acreage and the spudding of Smith#2. It does not need much to thought that RRL and its partners have oil and gas and inastructure is place to sell the stuff. The report imo will show that what is there will mean money rolling in immediately. On to Georgia. I feel news on that front will come very soon on the completion of the 3D seismic. Link to RRL web site. Russian and Georgian relations are now improving for the better which helps long term RRL ops in Georgia. | greatfull dead
30/4/2010 09:41 | OFFER moved to 4.75p. | iainmac24
30/4/2010 09:40 | IJ, The political issue re. payments to kurdy oilers is a pain but it affects 'Oil Exports' from Kurdistan. Although that makes up the bulk of whats sold, companies can sell within kurdistan at a discount. GKP plan 10k production for the Kurdish market so there is a prospect of getting some of their spend back. Having said that, IMO anyone who actually expects the smaller Kurdy oilers to go on into full production and export oil into Turkey after an agreement is in-place, has missed the point. Kurdy oilers will become tasty morsels for the majors/NOCs to buyout. Indeed, GKP was being eyed-up by an Indian co before they announced their discovery. I remember clearly, the story was NOT refuted by the boss of the Indian co in question - funnily enough, the Indian parliament has in the last week or two raised the amount Indian state Oil&Gas co's can spend so as to increase their financial firepower when competing with the Chinese for 'strategic assets'. GKP may not have to produce much at all to entice a major/NOC to come in to take them out. Of course, they will need to drill a few appraisals before that stage. The netback on the oil will become less of a priority if NOC's are involved, they will stockpile resources for strategic purposes. Anyway, with resources potentially in the tens of billions over four blocks, even $1.5 p/b will scale up to a large figure. In regards to RRL, I expect them to go down the same route as AOI who's management have already said will be boughtout in a few years. Again, certain countries will look to take strategic positions in places where large resources are available, even Puntland. So the well economics are, IMO, not the priority - access to ever scarcer resources is. Cash | cashandcard
