29/4/2010 10:36 | Quarterly update out in Oz next week? Be interesting to see how Smith has been performing. Cash | cashandcard
29/4/2010 10:34 | news is clearly coming, my odds are 50% v good, 30 % good, 10% average and maybe 10% a disaster. | martinfrench
29/4/2010 10:32 | iain, that is somewhat misleading....if you sold something today, you could still buy rrl the minute after and providing was same or less amount, it should be authorised and the settles "cross in the night" so to speak. You dont have to wait until you "see" the amount in your account. By saying saying this i assume they have given you a trading level, which should always be a decent amount higher than your actual holdings. eg, my account says 80k, my trading level is always around 30k for new stuff, and by this they are assuming i could sell something to cover or inject cash. if you buy something first and then sell, that is also ok to a point, they might charge you a very small anount of interest but i find them very straight and good. | martinfrench

29/4/2010 10:24 | At this stage depends entirely what the Texas report says. If it is anything like muted, then would have thought with early stage Georgia and Puntland onshore/offshore, we would probably deserve 10pence plus with ease or around £80mn cap. In reality speculation and progress with each riece of news will drive this higher and bless them, Range appear to be on the ball with newsflow. imho dyor please | fairdeal2008
29/4/2010 10:24 | Sorry for the OT people. | iainmac24
29/4/2010 10:23 | Does anyone trade with td waterhouse just sold some other shares to invest in RRL and they are saying it takes a minimum of 3 days for the money from the sale to clear in my account!!!!! Just started with them after etrade stopped uk trading accounts and not impressed if this is the case??? | iainmac24
29/4/2010 10:20 | I do not want to jump the gun but with a 20% interest in Texas (assuming your figs), Puntland and Georgia coming-up and other assets in the portfolio which have not yet come into play, I would expect this to be no less than £60mln in the run-up to the first Puntland well. Why? all depends on progress in Texas and mobilisation for Puntland of course. I have taken a conservative approach in that I have assumed one well through the summer with no further wells coming online. Otherwise, 7-9p would be closer to the mark. Cash | cashandcard
29/4/2010 10:14 | cash and card< what do you think we'll see if the reserves show 250bcf and 10mbl in terms of marketcap/sp? | mingle3
29/4/2010 10:11 | Sparty1, Kea - has zero production and smalltime oil discovery on its hands (1mln bbls) for a marketcap of circa £85mln. RRL - production of oil&gas (25% WI) from one well flowing 2-250bopd + 2.2-2.8mmcfpd, further wells coming online in due course. All its blocks have had oil/gas shows or discoveries, major drill 5months away at a bln bbl target. All for a marketcap of £30mln? Its obvious which one is overvalued at the moment, not just price but on the potential of their forward prospects. I know where I'll be topping up over the next few months. The only way Kea could be valued at that kind of price is with success at their 450bcf gas target. The oil discovery alone will underpin only part of their marketcap. The gas target will be drilled going into summer. At the moment, with no cashflow, they look an expensive outfit. Also, the illustrious IGS & crew (Rift, TPG, Skypharma) are at the helm.... I hope all goes well for you overthere. Cash | cashandcard
29/4/2010 10:02 | Anything is possible when you get into a whole new oil region? Look at GKP's history.... | monkey puzzle
29/4/2010 10:00 | MP get off your rocket and come back down to the real world! Do you really think that is going to happen??! haha only banter no offence meant. | iainmac24
29/4/2010 09:57 | Now that would be much better.....but really depends on how we see texas news lift the share price ....I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the share price rocket on the news, possible double figures... | monkey puzzle
29/4/2010 09:53 | i too believe we'll see some selling but as the sells dry up im sure we'll start to see the true value. what are your expectations in terms of share price in sep on spudding in punters? | mingle3
29/4/2010 09:45 | Mingle3, If it weasn't on AIM, alot higher than where we are but because it is on AIM, maybe be +30% before MMs mark it back down to begin the inevitable drift as sellers cash in after sitting on their 3p RI shares for so long here....all imo fwiw | monkey puzzle
29/4/2010 09:44 | stnick The kea team are largely made up of the operaters and backers of RIFT, which you may remember found large quantities of gas in Papua New guinea, and eventually sold out to a larger company to develop.Nigel wray was a big invester as he is in Kea.The Kea drill areas are close to potential users and the whole set up looking very good. I am in both RRL and KEA. GL | sparty1
29/4/2010 09:43 | Thanks mp. Id be happy if we see 6p personally. where do you think we'll be if it comes in at 250bcf and 10mbl? | mingle3
29/4/2010 09:34 | It would certainly impressive but very unlikely...not sure MMs even bother with fundamentals on many AIM listed shares these days, especially junior O&G companies.....they seem more interested in setting prices to match sells or buys, but mainly sells.....imo fwiw | monkey puzzle
29/4/2010 09:32 | i believe we could open up at 6p with a rally upto that level. Does anyone know what the mm's base their prices on? will they sit down and do the calcs, workout what its worth to range and value the company accordingly?? | mingle3 |
