mingle3 -..Mind the Tax man capital gains and all that...its best to try and NOT make a profit but I do realise the difficulty in trying very hard NOT make a profit on the UK stock market. ITS ALWAYS BEEN VERY DIFFICULT TRYING NOT TO MAKE A PROFIT..

fatfish,

Relax, We know there is a reserve report due. The exact timing of its release is controlled by our partner who just happen to be a private entity. Upto them when its released. I expect the next news to be on progress of the appraisal well anyway. Besides, one Puntland well this Autumn gives many 'serious investors' more time to accumulate. I'd much prefer that then an army of traders to descend on this for what will probably be a shortterm spike in value.

C'mon Doc.

You know better, with all the buying that's been going on. WHO-TF is selling all these shares, at this level.

If PL and Co. wanted 50% of RRS shares on the AIM then why didn't they just issue them on the AIM, rather than sell them cheap to their mates, and have their mates dump the lot on the AIM for a small profit, but not small when you got millions to sell. And the boys wouldn't be selling if there wasn't a new batch coming.

This is just a game until they're ready.

I've been ready for the past 4 years - holding more than 2Mil for awhile now. My shout when they get taken over.

Yup you could pretty much have added 50-100% since Jan by buying any bank related stock...low risk/high reward......makes you lol when they say these jumior O&G stocks have high risks but high rewards....well I've seen the high risks bit so what about some high rewards for a change???

and yet it still flat lined :(

flippin rbs doing well too, miffed as i chose santander in january over rbs on balance of research at the time for short term profit. Since then San gone down and RBS well nuff said!! ah well cant win them all. Still I did get nice Divi from Santander which RBS dont give with another on the way next week :D

Here's hoping we get good news from rrl this week to lift the share price as its getting boring watching a flat line and then post election santander along with other banks take a ride high :D

PWhite,

'Where is the Texas report?'

Its work in progress. If the reserves are similar to the mobil david field then its likely they will be going over the data carefully. Rushing it will have an effect on the overall accuracy of it. IMO, the longer it takes the firmer those numbers are likely to be.

You guys deserve to be treated better than this. You have supported the company before, during and after the rights issue. Don't be taken for idiots.

Where is the Texas report?

Spangle,

True, that the Kudu field offshore Namibia. If I'm not mistaken, has around 5Tcf in-place. As you say, the critical elements that are needed to monetize it are not there so it'll stay put for the foreseeable.

7kiwi - ref 2Tcf, not in 1560 acres anyway :-)

Simonaj30 - I can see where you're coming from with 2 Tcf, but that would be more of a benchmark for offshore fields, particularly deepwater, in areas where there is little established infrastructure. The Tullow find in Namibia is one example - can't remember the name, but it's about 1 Tcf and it's stuck for development because they can't find a local buyer to support the cost running a pipeline to shore, and it's not large enough to warrant LNG, especially in the current market.

Onshore it's a different picture: infrastructure costs in established places like the US are less of a critical issue, and the size of the field/deliverability of the well dictates how much is economic. For instance, in Hungary, where gas price is typically higher than the US, AST has said that fields of 2bcf are economic.

Expecting some SP-enhancing news within days based on Mr. Landau's prevoius comments this year...
