If they are waiting until September to make an announcement that suggests that they will declare the start of Commercial Production, with the months of July and August having met the qualifying criteria.

I wrote to the company asking about their "Roadshow" but received no reply. I can't find anything about any Ocean Equities conference from 5th - 6th Sept either. I suspect we will just get a Proactive investors video and RNS.

At least the shareprice seems to have retaken much of the ground lost with the exodus of RHPS subscribers.

Thanks KT. I did suspect as much as i commented in my last post. They'll have something to talk about at the conference.

But the quicker we get an update the better imo. We have been waiting long enough.

With thanks to ManicMiner2 on iii.

"Spoke with senior management at the mine today ( 28th ).
There should be a press release going out to the market next week, for the beginning of September. This would be before there conference next week, 5th-6th while allowing them to include results up to the end of August."

They seemed a lot better at mining gold profitably than a number of gold miners that I follow.

In practice I'm not convinced Rambler can profitably mine gold. The agreement with Sandstorm increases our effective costs substantially. If Sandstorm get 32% of our mined gold that inctreases our costs by nearly 50%. If Sandstorm get 25% of the mined gold that increases our costs per oz by 33.3%. Unless gold goes to $2,000/oz we won't generate much cash there.

Yet another week gone and still no update.

Good point snowydays.

Also we aways have plan B which is to switch over to gold production if the price of Cu drops to low.

I do not think they will.

Rambler have stated that they will consider hedging forward a portion of future production if they go ahead with the LFZ expansion, and any lender might insist on that. However, hopefully that project is on the back burner with current copper prices. I do not think they will consider hedging future production at the moment as that would be against Ramblers declared long term strategy. They have stated that they will be guided by the view that metal prices are in a long term bull market.

In my opinion a far better safety net for Rambler is simply to build up a big cash pile as quickly as possible. One problem which with hedging forward which happenns quite often is that a miner sells forward future production only to see metal prices rise. That is fine as long as production goes smoothly, but if there is a problem the miner is then stuck with no income but it still has to meet margin payments on the hedge. With Rambler having just one working mine the possibility of future disruption to production is very real.

Good to see the price of copper slowly rising on the back of possible QE.
I wonder if now that we are producing copper the management make a decision in the next couple of months to hedge some of our produce so taking some of the risk away in case of lower Cu prices.

Don't go by the chart above.

Just done some dummy trades and can buy small trades at 26.75 and sell at 26.39, could not buy a large trade online.

11% spread and only 2,000 traded so far - so not meaningful I'm afraid!

Interesting to note the parallels with FML, which was being hyped across the board(s) a few months ago, and which share price has recently declined after announcing maiden production.

Also see WTI struggling. So I guess the drag on copper companies is not limited to Rambler?

Why are we here, that is the question. And we are blessed in this, that we happen to know the answer. Yes, in this immense confusion one thing alone is clear. We are waiting for Rambler to come.

"Often, there is no correlation between the success of a company's operations and the success of its stock over a few months or even a few years. In the long term, there is a 100 percent correlation between the success of the company and the success of its stock. This disparity is the key to making money; it pays to be patient, and to own successful companies. "

Peter Lynch in "One Up on Wall Street." He might have liked Rambler.

I cannot find any details of the Ocean Equities "Mining for Growth Conference" for 2012 on the internet.
There are plenty of references to a 2011 conference so perhaps Rambler just assumed the conference would be an annual event. Rambler do not seem to update their website very often.

I would like to attend the Roadshow if there are any public events, but again no details. Perhaps all that really means is that George Ogilvie will be in London on those dates presenting to a few institutions and making a video with Proactive Investors. We will probably have to settle for a pdf presentation on the company website.

There are at least three important events imminent which we should be informed about.
1. Successful processing of pure 1807 ore, indicating that Rambler is now profitable.
2. The start of commercial production. Hopefully to be announced early next month.
3. Repayment of the Sprott lending facility.

Come on Rambler. These are important times for the company and its shareholders. Let us know what is happening.

If they are doing roadshows in early September then one would be sure of news of commercial production before then. Lets hope we get some good news next week.

"Many other company's would use the much larger resource figures."

Yes, and many other companies would have a much stronger shareprice if they had made the same progress as Rambler.

They are certainly not a company that involves itself in 'hype'. I thought your reference to the 2010 reserve figure being quoted at the footer of their announcements was typical of RMM. Many other company's would use the much larger resource figures.

I might well attend their roadshow, particularly if they are invited to present by ProActive. But so far there has been no communication directly to myself.

So, yet another week goes past without any sort of update from this company. Are they processing 1807 ore exclusively yet? Have they increased the throughput from the pathetic 585tpd achieved in June? Who knows? Why bother to tell us, we are only the owners of this company.

But even though it is too much trouble to inform shareholders of what is happening I notice from the company website that Rambler is planning a "Roadshow" from September 3rd to September 7th in London. Does anyone know any more details of this "roadshow?"

At the same time as the "Roadshow" Rambler are also participating in Ocean Equities Mining for Growth Conference also in London, England on September 5th and 6th. There's not much information on the company website. Is anyone here planning to attend these events?
