Get it right, it hasnt only risen against my short, quite the opposite, it has gone negative today, but I am not concerned....nor should you be.

Fair play to you for saying you are having a punt. That in itself should be a concern for any "investor" The odds looked stacked against although, as I have said, there is a some chance it wont go bust now I believe.

Dealing in this stock is pretty much a gamble for me because I, like the rest of the market, don't have any concrete info to work with. Until the PWC report comes out, or a bid is tabled, then its a bit of a guessing game.

What concrete info do you base your short on or are you a gambler just like me ??

agree buoycat. I have said I dont think they will go bust now, but there is a re-rating to come through in the short term atleast when the accounts are rewritten and they have had their fire sale or rights issue

It is an almighty coincidence that someone has just been paid in QPP shares and a story about a large takeover happens to hit the business pages of a Sunday broadsheet not two days later. I have weighed in short today.

Ditto the analysis of those before me; Slater Gordon couldn't pull that deal off because they would need debt and no one would be able to price it without themselves running a fine-tooth comb over the assets being purchased.
