My hunch is that it's a mega ramp before the bad news kicks in. Great opp to sell-up or start a new short imo. Could be a spiky week for existing shorts though. QPP share price driven by non instis apparently.

I'm just trying to work out what's going on.

I look forward to clarification from SGH. ASX's stricter transparency rules mean they will have to comment as exact figures and timelines mentioned in article.

If this is a real bid it's a deus ex machina escape for Quenron and all investors. They should bite the hand off SGH. Too good to be true.

Jezz, and there's never been a negative QPP story in The Sunday Times? Nor have the bears never leaked any negative stories via newspapers or blogs like Share Prophets etc? Just because it doesn't suit your agenda - if it had been "S&G talks collapse" in the newspaper today I bet 100% the bears would have been crowing like crazy and saying it's legit!

My preference would be given equity in two companies s and q (legal merged entity) and Quindell (technology) - that way shareholders can benefit from the rerating in both businesses as pizza man goes bankrupt
