This is what you must not do when in a loss making situation. Try to buck the market. get emotional.

Cut it EL. And move on.

Yes indeed

The longer this runs the better
Both sides are spending money employing advisors, the meter is running so we can be sure there is nearly an acceptable deal there for both parties
Just have to wait for the announcement

ELcapital - 16 Mar 2015 - 10:08 - 30853 of 30859 - 0It is illogical. I shorted them for a number of reasons, and the main ones have not yet been reported yet. It would not make sense for me to close. So weak.

You cannot buck the market EL, no matter how illogical you think things may be.

Take your loss and move on.

Best take the loss and move on.

Hardest thing in this business is taking losses but its only by doing it you become a stronger trader.

Oh, and I am told that the files are worth no more than £250, obviously a lot less in a fire sale situation.

S&G are doing DD on the files they are buying, not on division, and also to continue the squeeze on qpp. Its obvious. The spin doctors put out stories like this so share price doesnt get depressed in case they need to do deep discounted rights, which is 50/50 in my book. Mug punters wont see it, because they want to believe, but it must be bugging them that there are no announcements or suspensions from either company.

S & G are doing DD and have yet to withdraw
Forget PWC
S & G know the score!

I propose myself. For the post I now make

In an RNS on 5 March QPP reported

“The agreement of terms with the Plaintiffs for the settlement of litigation (Laurence Baker, et al. v. Hassan Sadiq, et al. and NavSeeker, Inc. C.A. No. 9464-VCL, Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware USA)(“Litigation”) and the associated acquisition of 11.67 per cent. of Navseeker not already held by the Company (“Settlement”)…
· Following Court approval of the Settlement, the Company will acquire the shares in Navseeker held by the Plaintiffs for a consideration of 684,770 new ordinary shares in Quindell of 15p each (“Settlement Shares”). In addition, the Company will make a cash payment US$1 million to the Plaintiffs in the Litigation.”

So my understanding was that QPP get 11.67% of Navseeker in exchange for 684 770 QPP shares and USD 1m. Note that this is the acquisition of 11.67% not already held ie they already own the other shares.

Then on 13 March we are told

“On 5 March 2015, Quindell Plc (AIM: QPP.L) announced the settlement of litigation (Laurence Baker, et al. v. Hassan Sadiq, et al. and NavSeeker, Inc. C.A. No. 9464-VCL, Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware USA) and the associated acquisition of 11.67 per cent. of Navseeker, Inc (“Navseeker”), not already held by the Company (which includes shares held by non-litigants to whom Quindell is required to extend the Navseeker purchase offer)(“Settlement”). As part of the process to achieve full ownership of Navseeker, the Company further announces that it has today issued 832,946 new ordinary shares of 15p each in the Company (“Ordinary Shares”), in respect of the acquisition of a further 8.33 per cent. of Navseeker not already held by the Company.”

So on 5 March Quindell reported that they would issue fewer than 700 000 shares to get more than 11% but a week later report that they issued more than 800 000 shares to get 8.33%. There is no mention of cash changing hands either way.

I propose myself as Moron Of The Week because I wonder if QPP changed the deal to offer more shares and less cash.
