Sorry Andy you are wrong. I was part of a company that QPP took over that developed the software used by Insure the Box the most successful telematics insurance offering in the UK. It took years of development and the barriers to entry are really quite high.

---

Well you seem to be saying that others cannot achieve what QPP have done? Is that correct? There is no working competition anywhere in the world?

I worked in IT, and our company headhunted strategic staff from competitors occasionally to assist with catchup projects!

Once something is already developed, it's out their, and competitors will already be working on their own solutions.

I find it hard to believe QPP have the only available solution.

great news whichever way. PwC report and qpp growing very fast. if they sell or not. the growth and revenue alone is enough for a re-rating. shame i offloaded some at 80p. topping up tomorrow.

S&G have to say something one way or the other. If (and I dont believe it) there is an offer of that magnitude, it is in excess of their value. How could S&G shareholders know what they are buying.?

stocky,

Bet you're deep into AFR too!

If not "purely for profits" why would anyone short anything?

You morons should not jump to conclusions. You didnt want to believe ST before but now you are taking it as gospel, when you know there are many spin doctors out there. You should see if there is an rns tonight in oz, if there isnt, you should start to worry

Don't think S&G have to say anything really, it's just press speculation.

QPP has a history of manipulating the press, it'll be interesting to see if this comes to anything

Nothing has changed. You should all wait until start of play tonight in Oz, if there is no rns over there, then you should be worried.

All we need is for Worthington to also do well and burn some more shorters. The ideal situation is if it becomes very expensive for shorters to target healthy, growing technology companies purely for profits sake.

Lets keep it civil guys, the bears have been none stop during these last few months, using all the dirty tricks in the book, lies, twisted allegations and assumptions. Let us longs not now fall to their level.

We all knew QPP had significant value once the cash flows and funding were sorted. S & G were not spending so long on DD for a small material case files transfer!

Winnifirth and his follower muppets had zero credibility before and will now be pure laughing stocks if the ST aritlce and valuations are formally announced.

Shorters burning is pure karma :)

Indeed - if the software was so easy to develop, wouldn't there be dozens of competitors in the market already??

Slater & Gordon do not have that amount of money to buy QLS, they have consistently poured cold water on any such suggestions. Yes some complete morons will pile in on this false news and raise the share price giving the opportunity for people to increase their short position.

S&G have not talked about paying £900m. You are way ahead of yourself.

There may also be a shareholder vote in which slater and Gordon's offer will be deemed to low vs the clean pwc report and very strong hearing loss business etc!! This company was worth 45px15 a year ago and should be worth at least that again this year. Also we may get given shares in slater and Gordon to allow shareholders to recoup that 45p with the legal services under slater (ie huge rerating from new ownership and strong legal brand) as well as shares in Quindell which can move to list on Nasdaq as the leading telematics player.

If there had been any truth in the short sellers allegations slater Gordon would not be talking about paying £900m. I suspect the pwc report is broadly clean, maybe with some additional conservatism on one or two types of accrual required but certainly the hearing loss claims seem to be better than expected too! Besides there was a requirement to rns any serious bad news which there clearly isn't as the draft reports have been in for a long time and the steer has remained cashflows more than sufficient together with existing facilities to execute the business plan. I suspect though there is potentially a huge USA telematics opportunity to fold in Sprints business which has been ticking along ever since last May and now there are the funds to take it into a different order of magnitude......

Hopefully the same happens for Blinkx and Globo. These shorters are stealing from UK PIs and giving to away our assets to Foreign companies, there may come a time when their antics make them completely skint. Hopefully, they are skint before they destroy our companies and sell UK Plc down the river.
