27/11/2021 17:28 | Again as I have already posted:'- RE FPGA, we will have to wait and see re performance and energy consumption. From 5/11/21 RNS:- Concurrently, QBT’s R&D team is also considering an alternative SHA256 computing approach (which is categorised as the basic Bitcoin mining algorithm), and this will be tested within the next three months. The joint effort by the members of our AI team and the Company’s FPGA expert, could improve the current FPGA hash rate of 2.8GH/s by a highly material multiple factor, making mining by the slower FPGA chip potentially competitive against the best-in-class ASIC chip. Should this route be successful, mining via this method could commence as early as Q2 2022. | ![]() stevebrrr
27/11/2021 17:28 | You STATED S19 PRO costs are not $6k or $20k at the moment so why suggest it. Apology accepted. Lol. | ![]() largechablis
27/11/2021 17:26 | Spray. You mean 'pour' yourself? Moron. Lol. Not doing so well? Up over 1000% last 12 months? Haha. | ![]() largechablis
27/11/2021 17:21 | No, I actually said 'moving towards' that cost which it was, but now we have a new kid on the block, this has changed. Those miners RIOT have are slower as you know. Bitmain Antminer S19XP are the new rigs that all miners need now, the stakes have been upped in terms of delivery times and the cost to acquire, naturally :- hxxps://news.bitcoin | ![]() stevebrrr
27/11/2021 17:20 | So no answers re FPGA mining questions then? Thought not. Lol. Going on about multi id blah blah paranoia doesn't change the fact you have no answers. have you shorted ARB yet? If not, please advise when you do and at what level. Well you wrote on the QBT board that S19's currently cost $20k. Did you not? As this is obviously not the case I've pointed the error out to you. See below. You're very welcome. From 3/11/21 "Riot recently completed a $54 million purchase order with Bitmain Technologies Limited (“Bitmain&rdqu That works out at $6k per miner I believe? | ![]() largechablis
27/11/2021 17:05 | I love it, so Largewhineo is 100% threatened by QBT and can see his ARB holding not doing so well. Why post here otherwise and why have many ID here trying to disrupt, it speaks absolute volumes, better go poor yourself a large one | ![]() spary1
27/11/2021 16:48 | Stevie. C'mon lad even a dimbo like you can do better than resort to childish comments about PW surely? As you know, Arb have just bought and paid for 20k S19's that will be able to mine 300 to 400BTC per month worth $15-20m a month at 80%+ margin. Are you saying you don't understand just how profitable that is? I guess as you've also stated you are looking to sell your ARB position at current levels and are actively considering shorting it, you must have a different outlook? haha. You stated 20k per S19 when that's obviously not the case. If you want to have some credibility here and not look like a mug, at least get your basic facts right. Back to FPGA. I'm looking forward to seeing what revenue numbers are posted here in Q2. lol. So QBT are saying they can increase BTC mining efficiency by over 100%? That's what multiple means as I understand it? Very bold. Do you know how many FPGA rigs that will be and what that will cost and if those costs are included in being 'fully funded' through to end 2022? What hashpower that will provide? Also what price have they secured for power? Current UK power prices are around 7 times higher than the North American miners are paying, so do you think these new FPGA rigs will be 700% faster than the best-in-class ASIC chips to match this production cost? Looking forward to your intelligent and considered response. | ![]() largechablis
27/11/2021 15:57 | Is spary1 just a bot ? Just keeps repeating the same tired pathetic manta | ![]() allenquatermain
27/11/2021 15:51 | Nearly as funny as the time sparey1 had to ask his momma for some more pocket money cos he lost his cash when his shares went down Priceless - you really couldn’t make it up BWAHAHAHA | ![]() allenquatermain
27/11/2021 15:47 | You can taste the venom in Quaterbrains posts, so obviously one of the bellends posting here also under another ID 244dk, well considering you seem to be stalking me because even on the other company thread you seem to have been mentioning this share for a long while which you would have taken zero notice of if you weren’t following me so? Anyway I can’t be bothered with this so let’s hope your “speculative punt”rewards handsomely 👍 Ps don’t forget stockhunter was ramping away here. | ![]() spary1

27/11/2021 15:43 | Stevie, you're very out of touch with mining economics at the moment. Lol.Current pricing for an S19 is around $6k in volume, having dipped as low as 3.5k just after the China shutdown. With lead times of around 4 months now that they cannot sell to their own domestic market. Obviously these prices and lead times will drop next year as the crypto bear market begins. Also if you can explain how qbt will self-mine without any mining rigs? You mentioned using FPGA instead of ASICS but given running any crypto mining Algo on FPGA will be both considerably slower than on an ASIC AND consume considerably more power than the equivalent ASIC I'm not sure it's economically viable. Particularly given likely power costs multiples of what the msjor miners are paying? | ![]() largechablis
27/11/2021 15:38 | Oooooh look at you Quarterbrain, such succinct verbosity, a cunning wit you are indeed. Carry on..... | ![]() stevebrrr
27/11/2021 14:42 | Interesting traded volume list for QBT you show there figgy, lowest volume last wednesday, then picking up again daily. Appetite is there. Tick Tock..... | ![]() stevebrrr
27/11/2021 14:37 | MrBlueface good luck if you do. Bitcoin recovering to $55k at the moment. Buy the dips imo slowly. Figgy, yes I think a buyout very likely if we are hovering under a £30 million market cap still, chump change for many in the industry. If there is a btc winter later next year miners could end up with egg on their face. There is a one year lead time for the latest S19s to be delivered and costs for one rig are pushing toward $20k. If you raised and spent say $1 billion on rigs now, that turn up at the backend of next year, there is a huge risk for bitcoin mining company CEOs right there. Granted they they could phase the raises but it will still take time to get fully up to speed with new kit. I think bitcoin mining CEOs will be wondering if they should wait. What will QBT be able to bring to the market soon? Disruptive technology. Should be worth the wait. | ![]() stevebrrr
27/11/2021 14:37 | Knigel you bellend I don’t give a toss about this share I am neither long nor short I only come here to laugh at the bedwetter freaks Soarey1 Boomrigg Stevebrrr Knigel It’s like a Victorian circus freak show and I only come here to laugh at them | ![]() allenquatermain
27/11/2021 14:32 | I wonder if Quarter Brain realises the Advfn threads are full of trolls, rampers and nutters - the QBT thread is quite mild compared to some threads (esp mining) - but he (?) only posts on here. My suggestion: have a look around the website and start posting elsewhere - otherwise your trashing agenda is simply quite clear! | ![]() knigel
27/11/2021 14:18 | Spary, you've accused me of being a multi id deramper troll for years. I have one id on advfn, I have no exposure at all on lse. Don't let any of that get in the way of your efforts to deflect from what you are and your agenda though ;-) Follow you? In your dreams!! | ![]() 244dk
