Yes the table I did was just to compare TH/s with tech applied. Don't take numbers too literally. I was trying to highlight bigger picture re keeping old mining rigs going into their old age.

hxxps://minerdaily.com/2020/bitcoin-miner-equations-you-need-to-know/

Good intro to btc mining profitability.

THE BTC MINING PROFITABILITY EQUATION is ofc all about TH/s, hardware costs and power costs.

QBT tech can help with all three factors.

If a company is “saving £200m on costs of hardware outlay”, but has an improved and efficient mining engine with a means to achieve the same mining BTC ccy targets (or even 10% less), you are still the winner in the longer term in terms of revenue versus company’s overall capital outlay for hardware tech, as an individual organisation, and your final financial figures.

Capital outlay is small and high mining revenue= Higher profitability banked each month

Where as if you spent $300m on hardware, some of your revenue will go towards paying off the £m’s borrowed on hardware cost each month over a period of 3-5years = less profitablity each month.
Loans outstanding could return after evry 2-3years. Never ending nightmare.

Already QBT are winning, by having a headstart when we apply the simple mathematics. 2022 will be fascinating, if all goes to planning and strategy.

I have been thinking along same direction for a while Steve.
Not sure if it is as logical as that.
But my thought process has been in the same direction, as they are (chips asic and fpga, gpu) all configurable, read a number of papers on this as well as tutorials, in particular for the the algo 256sh. Both asic and fpga chips.

FPGA can be improved by 35%+, I shared that a while back once. If that’s our first engine. Not too bad either. Lets see.

Take any GPU, FPMG, ASIC chip, via RnD optimisation, autotune to perfection i.e improve, “green stamp” it, you have a custom made engine, which is faster nd greener, way ahead of the standard competition.

Some of those potential tailor made optimisations could well be on the horizon through the RnD work started.

Add the quantum / big data. And we could have something amazing.

Quantum and AI is going to be massive in 2022.
We are in it, skin deep.

They would pay for a licence for the technology or, in the case of btc miners, a royalty on mined btc I would imagine. The table is just quick and dirty as I said, in order to try to make some comparisons. The read across is not direct but provides an equivalence in TH/s.

Dear Stevebrr you must know that, for mining experience, the TH/s for every miner change for various factors so you can have ten S19 with, in the same moment, BIG differences in target TH/s (positive or negative). This is why it is important a continuos monitoring and sometimes it is sufficient to switch off the miner wait and then switch on. My question is: how will be possible for QBT to be paid by a mining factory for the ASIC boost?

Getting the most out of older bitcoin mining equipment, extending their useful mining life.

CAN OLDER BITCOIN MINING RIGS REMAIN COMPETITIVE WITH QBT TECHNOLOGY APPLIED?

I have put together a quick and dirty comparison of some popular bitcoin mining rigs.

The table shows TH/s Before and after applying QBT currently RNSed potential optimisations.

Mining Rig ---------- CURRENT TH/s --------- Cost approx ----------- QBT tech 24% plus 7% Applied

Antminer S19 m------------- 95.0 TH/s -------------$10k ---‐----------------126 TH/s
Antminer S19 Pro ----------110.0 TH/s -----------$15k ---------------------145.9 TH/s
Antminer S19XP ------------140 TH/s-------------- ?????? -------------------185.75 TH/s
WhatsMiner M30S+------- 100.0 TH/s ----------$8,500------------------- 132.7 TH/s
Antminer T17 -----------------42 TH/s ---------------$1,900 ------------------- 55.7 TH/s
AvalonMiner 1246---------- 90.0 TH/s------------ $9,000 -------------------119.41 TH/s

Let me know your thoughts on any implications of this.

I have ignored this blog for a week or two in the hope that comments would improve but the childish comments have not changed and the mindless morons have not gone away. I just hope that this week will bring some news that will end the sniping and absolute twaddle that has pervaded for far too long so that we can have some decent discussion from some grown ups. Do the idiots who make crass comments realise how boring they really are? It seems that there are too any nutters in this world who get a kick out of spouting rubbish and it is a pity that they cannot be removed.

spary1 - "As for Scam, I will forward this to the company to take action against trolls"

When you do can you please ensure my name is top of the list. There is absolutely nothing here to invest in except shares that are ramped based on nothing more than a university bursary.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. The directors must be given credit for the name Quantum Blockchain Technologies. You can't get anymore fashionable than that.

OK, that article figgy posted is interesting. There is likely increasing cost and long lead time risk here for bitcoin miners ordering S19XP antminers from Bitmain. The last two paragraphs show how old kit will become useless. Unless it can be sped up somehow? That's another avenue for QBT to exploit imo.

What I am really interested to see when these hit the market is their failure rate, they 're using 5nm tech, smaller scale than the current 7nm.

Extract:-
Bitmain’s first round of preorders prices the S19XP at $75/TH. So at 140 TH, that means an initial sticker price of $10,500 a rig.

Notably, this is significantly less than the ~$105/TH that miners are paying in the ASIC resale market for other top-tier equipment, according to Hashrate Index’s Rig Price Indices.

The discount is included to compensate for the fact that these machines will have a lead time from ordering to deployment of anywhere from 7 to 10 months—potentially even longer if chip shortages and supply-chain bottlenecks throttle manufacturing output and delivery schedules. Miners have been wrestling with this issue enough this year; Marathon Digital Holdings, for example, took to chartering a plane to deliver a batch of machines when sea freight delays became untenable. Swiss miner BitRiver chartered its own planes for shipping, as well.

Decision Points: What Does this Mean for North American Miners?
Mining industry sources that the Luxor team has spoken to say that Bitmain has a production target of 20,000 Antminer S19 XPs a month. This could be more-or-less depending on a variety of logistical factors, and it remains to be seen how much China’s latest crypto and mining bans will constrict Bitmain’s production. Following the bans, Bitmain is reportedly shuttering its mainland China manufacturing capacity and fully migrating to its Indonesian and Malaysian factories,

With all of that in mind, Bitmain’s 20,000 target seems reasonable.

Assuming the manufacturer meets these targets, that would mean Bitmain could produce 280,000 S19 XPs before the close of next year. These machines would be capable of producing 39.2 exahashes a second (that’s 39,200,000,000,000,000,000,000). That’s roughly a 4th of the Bitcoin network’s outstanding hashrate today.

Most of these machines won’t be plugged in next year, though. If Bitmain’s production and delivery schedule goes as planned, the first batches will go online towards the end of Q3 and throughout Q4. But when they do come online, they will add heaps of hashrate to Bitcoin’s computing power, which could easily double next year.

Mega farms in North America and elsewhere will be the first to secure these machines. Once they come online in vast quantities and Bitcoin’s hashrate rises as a result, the increase in mining difficulty will obsolete older machines (like the S9 for e.g.) that have lesser efficiency and produce fewer hashes.

These machines will simply become unprofitable in all places except those with dirt cheap electricity rates. New generation and middle-of-the-road machines will still be viable, but less profitable.

For your information yet again Cryptominer who has always trolled here, the patent pending number is there and they are progressing as per RNS.

The AI expert asked to remain anonymous as he would have Wack jobs following him so totally understandable, only have to look at this site to see there are some seriously unhinged people in life.

As for Scam, I will forward this to the company to take action against trolls

Why QBT don't say where is the big working mining Data Center in Italy, the names of the AI experts and the team working in ASIC Booster and his patent deposit number? Probably because it is like the Serbia DC that mined ZERO cripto and nobody know where it is and if really exist. Only bla bla and nothing concrete. A total scam.

Happy weekend all. Reading the rags, would seem this oh so scary Xi varient or whatever its called is no worse in terms of causing illness than the delta and previous mutations. Reports from SA unilaterally confirm it is once again much ado about nothing.
My prediction is a strong turnaround from tuesday onwards, after we get the shock and awe from the US markets playing catchup on the downside. So, next week a strong rebound in our lovely UK small caps. You heard it here 1st.
