It's weird you're made to feel bad if you are loyal to a company and see it through it's ups and downs but if you just trade nothing is said.
TRP Came good quicker than I thought so it turned into a trade.
I felt worse about that but obviously pleased about the profit. It's a funny old world. |
RubbishWell placed companies do not have to have accept such a huge discount. Investors clearly did not accept all the hype and demanded what is a massive discount, basically 50% lower than recent days. |
Morning kreature
Credit where it is due.. a terrific job and hype/work behind the scenes to get a fully committed placing priced at 3p without the usual suspects seen to be selling short in bulk into the rise.
Retail punters should be able to be relied on to hold the 3p line for a bit.
Odds on price being above recent highs in a year's time? Limited |
The company is fully funded , share price will be above 6p again over the coming weeks/months |
To get money needed to fulfill their plans is quite a feat in this market.
Sure we each of us wish it had been at a higher price. |
Anyway good old AIM never fails to stick the knife in! |
Not in the least. They knew they could get away with it.
Every small company needs money. |
And the fact of the matter is, the real investors in the market who have bought into this placing, clearly didn't think it was worth more than 3p. |
So patronising isn't it Punters having half their stake wiped out & the board are pleased to announce. |
Bought massively this morning , share price will at least double again over the coming weeks/months.
A strong buy |
They were pleased though |
Oversubscribed. We wouldn't have got the interest before the recent news.
Retail offer. |
'Quadrise — Pathway to marine revenues and scale-up
Quadrise has made a significant step towards commercialisation, through which its innovative emulsion fuel technology will contribute to the decarbonisation of the marine sector. The company announced that it has signed a Collaboration and Operational Trial Agreement (the project agreement) with MSC Shipmanagement and Cargill, paving the way for the highly anticipated vessel trials on board the MSC Leandra. The market recognised the significance of this agreement, with Quadrise’s stock price rallying by approximately 50% on the day of the announcement.

This has a lot going for it in my opinion.
It is at last getting people interested in it.
Here are the next steps. |
I look at it like this, a little while ago these were dragging along between 1p and 2p. Now with the recent news, it has shot up and companies are willing to buy at 3p when they weren't before.
It is unfortunate that shipping industry takes a long time for things to move but that is the sector.
Stop pointing the finger and get real.

Goodness there are share price charts like this everywhere on ADVFN. Are you saying I am responsible for them all?
Typically you just scroll the web and look for companies that are just about to need cash again and wait to plague them.
Clearly your intention being, to make it about the posters, rather than the normal needs of any company in this sector.
You make money out of others. I do not I just remain loyal to any company that I think might have something unless that changes. |
I have put the poster above on ignore. I merely post news as I find it.
I think QED has procured something that the bigger firms haven't been able to do and that is proven by MSC's interest.
I have never told people to buy.
Surely we are all adults here and make up our own minds whether to buy or sell? The only thing I have ever shown is enthusiasm for a company.
It could be argued that it is people like the above, who seek to destroy shareholder value by encouraging people to sell AFTER an event. |
![](https://images.advfn.com/static/default-user.png) And there we have it. We knew they would need to raise as I said earlier they would run out of money by February. We are not being asked for money and if this is approved then I think it is a good sign that institutions want to back us. It wasn't long ago this was 3p. I see no reason why the share price ought to go down to that level on this occasion unless other factors come into play.
I thought some of what Crownos said on a different site was good hope he doesn't mind me posting it here.
'Yes 3p for the placing was a big discount, but as others have said, the price is largely out of Quadrise's hands, because in order to fulfil the ABB then the investors they are targeting will be largely the ones to dictate the price they are willing to pay, and no doubt Quadrise were advised that in order for this raise to go through at an accelerated rate, then they would need to initiate a larger discount. It's the price you pay for quick money from big investors. It's a shame, but it's most certainly not a surprise by any means.
As others have said, be happy that the placing it's pretty much over now and we will no doubt have the funds announced tomorrow to take us through to commercialisation and revenues. Hopefully this will be the last ever raise.'
Comments from various posters.
'It’s an Accelerated Bookbuild. They get announced after market close and are completed before market open the following day.'
'I think the dilution effect on the current shareholding is 0.14p. That’s taking interactive investor market cap of £112.84m and closing price of 5.82p. So effectively , if nothing else changes then I would expect an opening price of 5.68p. By not being able to access the subscription that (0.14p per share ) is what we have “lost” as existing shareholders.'
I will wait and see.
The world generally is suffering upheaval and with Trump pulling out of some things who knows what will happen when. However MSC has a lot of weight in the industry and if big investors want to get in at all then it's a big positive for me and ought to help.

No point trying to sell on the opening bell tomorrow morning, there’ll probably be an auction ? Needs a positive sounding RNS tomorrow, any rubbish will probably do ? |
This’ll be sub 3p tomorrow prob. Well done nazel. Now all there’s to look forward to are the usual delays and disappointments and bs imv |
3p lol. Fairly accurate tbf ;
kreature 22 Jan '25 - 08:53 - 1885 of 1890 Edit 0 0 0 I reckon there could be a placing in next 7 working days. Ie before Vancar possibly inadvertently delay or forget to send any money |
hazl,
As foretold in my post 2869 here:
Look at all those posts that you've made over the last few weeks/months encouraging others to pile in and buy. Every single one of those people has lost money because of you as they have bought high and are now sitting on a large paper loss. The flipside of your recent ramping has been that the MM sold the shares short to those fools and has just closed his short in the placing. Well done, you are a puppet of the MMs!
