25/5/2023 09:55 | I really do not in any way think this is trying to tempt a bidder. Of course I also hope they are not being over-confident but to me it has all the hallmarks of an ably managed company that has made a calculated move into new geographies. If I worked here I would I think be very happy with the direction in which the company is moving and the management taking it there. | srichardson8
25/5/2023 08:16 | SP should double at least to 2027 so will be a nice compounder with dividends too imo. | blueclyde
25/5/2023 08:15 | SP should hit new highs on this updated guidance - surely. | someuwin
25/5/2023 07:54 | As a new holder, I'm pleased with the upgraded ambition and guidance - I came in as I felt the medium term growth looked understated in the context of the market. They do need to deliver operationally, but ambition is a pre-requisite. | 18bt
25/5/2023 07:41 | The way it is written makes me think there is a bid in the back ground. They are spelling it out how good things are and that profits will be doubled in the next three years. | blueclyde
25/5/2023 07:25 | Looks very good! Excellent operational performance across the Group - Orders up 41%, a record-high of GBP1.7bn, growing our backlog to GBP3.1bn - Revenue is up 20% and profit is up 30%; up 11% and 12% respectively on an organic basis, excluding the impact of the write-down in FY22 - Cash performance remains strong with 106% conversion - Statutory operating profit of GBP172.8m, an increase of 40% - Returns are healthy with underlying EPS up to 26.5p and the full year dividend up 5% to 7.7p The defence & security context is heightening market demand for our distinctive offerings - We now see an addressable market of more than GBP30bn per year - We have delivered a step-change in our global growth platform with two strategic acquisitions in the US and Australia, both are performing well and the integrations are on-track FY24 expectations unchanged, upgraded long-term guidance - We are targeting high single digit organic revenue growth at 11-12% margin - We have increased the scale of our ambition to grow the company to approx. GBP3bn revenue by FY27, including further strategic acquisitions - This upgraded guidance will approximately double our revenue and profit over the next 4 years, a 20% improvement to our previous guidance | someuwin
18/5/2023 12:24 | Not many companies this cheap saying their order books are up over 40% at record highs. Should do well. | blueclyde
18/5/2023 12:11 | Results next Thursday. Healthy outlook and we could see shares hitting new highs. | someuwin
17/4/2023 11:14 | good spot BS - in that sense wrt Avantus it is something of a comfort that they follow up with "we remain on-track to deliver on the strategic and financial returns outlined previously." | melody9999
17/4/2023 10:01 | Only negative - Avantus new orders lower than assumed. Apart from that excellent. | brain smiley
17/4/2023 08:49 | Fingers crossed Wad! When it reached the previous high, the PE was 16.7, At 366p, PE is 13 according to Stocko. We should be bringing down the debt from the Avantus acquisition nicely now - I think nervousness over the increased debt was the reason for the share price fall in Q3 22. | melody9999
17/4/2023 08:32 | Is that upbeat TU going to take QQ to a new high? | wad collector
11/4/2023 10:21 | I think they’ve had another good year and expect this to correct nicely. Been topping up but now holding. | chipfire
05/4/2023 13:51 | Yes I made the mistake of looking at advfn figures , they are usually out of date ; still showing 21 above. Big contract RNS is pushing up the share price today. | wad collector
05/4/2023 07:58 | Wad - QQ. PE is lower than BA. on Stockopedia. 12m rolling 12.2 vs 16.4 Nice renewal RNS this am will help underpin future revenues | melody9999
04/4/2023 12:47 | With more emphasis on electronic warfare than hardware it is perhaps not a valid comparison , but even with BAe at ATH it still has a higher yield and lower P/E than QQ. | wad collector
04/4/2023 09:32 | This has been lagging behind other defence businesses especioally BAE. Due a catch up IMO so looking forward to the trading statement | melody9999
03/4/2023 22:01 | 30 March 2023 - QinetiQ Group plc ("QinetiQ" or the "Company") has won a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) by the U.S. Army for a Digital Night Vision Technology (DNVT) contract worth up to $92.6M over four years. Guess with a £1.2B turnover it is not a huge win, but high profile buyer helps. | wad collector
22/3/2023 14:27 | Their website says a trading statement is due on the 18th of April. | brain smiley
20/3/2023 12:44 | Surprised to see these doing so poorly given the climate, news should be good | doobz
16/3/2023 15:28 | Trading statement last year in April - news due soon to what's going on. | brain smiley
08/3/2023 20:09 | Yes continuing to drop, new 6 month low which seems surprising considering the strength of the sector. On the other hand , looks like a buying opportunity.... | wad collector
28/2/2023 14:49 | It was just a headline - no reason given. | brain smiley
28/2/2023 14:49 | Looks to be in the buy zone again for a trade - just feels like there is something wrong here ? Like to see director share purchases to provide confidence. | brain smiley |
