11/10/2023 07:38 | That was why I was careful to say UK or US company. | stevenlondon3
11/10/2023 06:35 | Hello rimau, I am in CHEM and MSI, sector ripe for consolidation in my view! | johndoe23
11/10/2023 06:26 | Absolutely no chance. Posted about this here many times, QQ. Is too intertwined with the MoD, the government would block it. For M&A prospects you have to head over to Chemring or Cohort. | rimau1
11/10/2023 06:21 | Yes reads well. Improved organic growth and margins, order book. Cash conversion lower, short term issue as flagged. Hopefully this follows some other "in line" updates recently that have flown!! | johndoe23
11/10/2023 06:20 | 2025 estimates look as if they will be upgraded putting the stock on single figure prospective PE. Additionally there is the chance of a takeover bid from another UK or USA company. | stevenlondon3
11/10/2023 06:11 | Nice to see a solid "in line" update. The recent sell-off signalled to me that we had a problem so i am relieved. Cheapest defence company against UK listed peers. BA. flirting with 12 month highs whilst we have been at 12 month lows makes little sense. | rimau1
06/10/2023 15:32 | There could have been some selling from "responsible" funds. But good news - the Times reports today that "responsible" funds had record net outflow of £448m in August and suggests customer love affair with greener investment is waning! | bigbertie1
06/10/2023 11:28 | Taken a position here. Seems strange no bump up after those contract wins? Would say market has woken up to this yet unless I'm missing something? | johndoe23

03/10/2023 06:20 | RNS Number : 4459O QinetiQ Group plc 03 October 2023 News release QinetiQ Group plc $84m contract win for delivery of Next Generation Bomb Suits for US Army 03 October 2023 - QinetiQ Group plc (QinetiQ) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a 5-year $84 million contract in the US for the testing and production of the Next Generation Advanced Bomb Suit (NGABS). The NGABS contract is a Program of Record where QinetiQ will deliver over 700 NGAB suits to the US Army. The new suit will replace the current 20 year-old bomb suit, and will provide enhanced protection to its users in their daily operations to identify, render safe, and dispose of improvised explosive devices and other explosive threats. The new suit will increase soldier survivability and readiness to respond to evolving threats by providing them with 360 degree ballistic protection and significantly increasing situational awareness with built-in technology enhancements. This contract win is a great example of our advanced sensor and data processing capability delivering success and growth in our US business (formerly MTEQ), taking products from prototype into full-scale production. | someuwin
01/9/2023 08:15 | Agreed, its very material in quantum too and its non UK revenue helping the mix. | rimau1
01/9/2023 07:59 | This PWSA project loooks like a big deal. A network of hundreds of optically connected satellites in low earth orbit - like a militarised version of Musk's Starlink. I can see QQ getting a lot more work out of this... "...Beating off one other competitive bid, the five-year contract was awarded to defence contractor Avantus Federal, which QinetiQ US bought last year in a US$590 million deal, to assist with the development of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) network of military satellites and sensors. Avantus will provide systems engineering and technical support to the Space Development Agency as it puts together the constellation of hundreds of satellites in low-Earth orbit that are designed to provide the US armed forces with support for missions on the ground. Once completed, PWSA will include seven layers: transport, battle management, tracking, custody, emerging capabilities – or deterrence, navigation and support." | someuwin
31/8/2023 19:31 | Contract RNS showing now. Excellent news. | someuwin
31/8/2023 17:13 | I missed this rns but explains the bounce; Qinetiq Group PLC - Farnborough, Hampshire-based defence technology company - Receives contract to provide mission support to the US Space Development Agency. The firm-fixed-price contract is worth USD224 million and lasts for five years. "This contract is the largest competitive win for the Avantus business since QinetiQ's acquisition in November last year and underpins our target of greater than 10% annual revenue growth from Avantus," the company says. Chief Executive Officer Steve Wadey says: "Securing this new contract is an important milestone in the delivery of the ambitious growth plan for our US business, including the excellent capabilities we acquired with Avantus last year. It demonstrates our strategy is working, providing confidence that we will deliver good returns, both organically and through acquisitions. We remain confident in our plan to deliver high single digit organic revenue growth at stable profit margins." | rimau1
31/8/2023 14:56 | Looks like the persistent seller is all done 👍 | peddlers
23/8/2023 09:19 | Added a few yesterday, looks promising, I presume the persistent seller ( black rock?)over the last month will continue but some good buying yesterday with a large UT after hours. | tempted
22/8/2023 08:40 | I agree, topped up at 298. £4 is on the horizon | chipfire |
