I would be surprised if they do announce anything before the end of the year.
I get the feeling that something major is going to happen and it may be taking longer to sort out.
I am quite happy to wait until mid January if that is what it takes.

The world is now all about renewable. This company is a pile of c--p, simple as that. For anybody to invest here, they would have to be a half-wit. I guess that just about sums up the management of this company.

Interesting, the real spread today was from 8.28-9.69
Those were the bid and offer when I tried to trade today
Clearly the market makers don't want to trade this at the moment!

Hmm, good spot, they might go mbo, maybe too late to inform their decision. Something is brewing, despite the tricks with the spread, it's heading upwards, not many trading days left in December...

Spot prices for multi si wafers increasing and have been for the last quarter.

Particular high demand for high efficiency wafers, which PVCS produces. Wafer Supply shortfall forecast for 2016.

Could it be a turning point? We will shortly find out what impact this has and what they intend to do with the company.

Well, they effectively only have 2 weeks to make their own self imposed target for the review.
I am still very much in favour of winding up the business but I suspect that I wont get it.
I doubled my holding last Friday morning as I really need some good news before the end of the year to rescue what has become a rather disappointing investment calendar year!

Indeed. Something will happen in the next 40 days. Happy to hold my cash here for now. Could be an mbo as well as a cash payment. Don't think they can do another "wait and see" job...

The cautionary word regarding the secondary settlement is that management have in the past indicated it will be far smaller than the previous one.

I am assuming that they are hoping that they will have their arbitration case over on the holdout contract customer by the end of the year which will allow them to say with certainty what they are going to do with the business going forward.
There is clearly no possibility of their core business becoming profitable in the foreseeable future so hopefully we will get the business wound up. While there is no value in the business beyond their current stock there will hopefully be substantial value in the settlement they get from the holdout contract customer which is why I am here. I made a good profit the last time they got a big chunk of cash that they disbursed to shareholders.
