It is extraordinary how this super-hyped, loss making, company is capitalised at over £900 million. My short is doing awfully well and should benefit from further losses in forthcoming trading statement, how ever well they are dressed up.

Unbelievable really, and he's boxed himself in to PURP, if it fails it will hurt his fund and reputation.


He bought in cheap but of he starts to sell it will definitely hurt the share price, and if it goes down he buys more which provides temporary support, until his buying stops and it's announced.


a US fund are shorting another of his big holdings as well!

Good point. But then he won't be making any money from his army of PI's if he goes into cash. Also if he makes a big call like this and gets it wrong then everyone cashes out.

Elcap I think you would do better to focus on your own trading methods rather than try to second guess Neil Woodford.

I've looked at your other calls on ADVFN and concluded you would have more success just flipping coins instead of making judgement calls. You'd be better off tossing.

He did at least post sensibly on the 'Gatwick gusher' thread in that he didn't believe the hype. He does deserve credit for that.

However he claimed he had been 'a Stockbroker for 10 years' and 'owns two companies' on the UKOG board.

If only he had reversed his positions on NLG and IQE. That must be hard to take!!!
