Rog,

British companies have a poor record of moving their brands across the Atlantic, think Tesco, as one example.

Historically, houses in California weren't built of brick. In an earthquake brick tends to shatter & have heavy falling bits rather than give & sway, the way most Ca. buildings have been designed to do for the last umpty ump years.

Inappropriate name for the location.

friggin' eck Tom
grasping at straws again
Americanisation never hurt their brands trading in Europe
I doubt Anglicisation will hurt in Cali

Jak - I'll give you a couple. 1. There could be a tax related reason. 2. It would take them a year at least to set something up. 3. They can progress it a lot quicker.

Yeah but how many companies are now wishing they had bought Amazon when they were two bucks a share??? The thing is Purp has first mover advantage, they have traction, the brand is well considered and younger folk like the concept.

Purp has the potential to be a 5 or 10BN global business. What's not to like???

Perhaps Softbank are looking at Purp???

if PURP gains traction in California, quite likely an internet giant will snap it up, imo

Elcap let's recap. You've been clucking on about a 110p profit. Are you in or out now???

The other thing - you famously said 'the only thing that can blow this one apart is a bid.' This is like standing in front of a steamroller and saying 'the only thing that can crush me is that wheel'.

Hey guess what Elcap, the bid might just come in and it will leave you crushed on the tarmac like a flat coin.

Ocado up 20% today. So all the shorters wrong on that one.

The thing is Elcap Purp isn't even shorted much at this big valuation. What makes you think you know more than the expert shorters???
