Glenkaz - I've been viewing from a distance for a couple of days now, great call on this one mate.

I bought in at 460, sold up at 6 (immediate regret) but topped up at 560, bit of resistance at 800 at the minute but hoping for a break through anytime soon.

Hopefully a 900 finish by close on Fri

Yesterday when trading I haven't today and won't! When I tried to buy back I could only in £9k amounts! Before I could trade £45k in and out! So decided now just to hold! Gla! 😱🔥 here mr short! I'll help ya end your pain ⛽️...💪🤡 hha ha ha! ✅

I never cease to be amazed at the crass stupidity shown by some leaders in the UK business or political fields.
Here we have a company which for over a 100 years has performed a task of lending to the poorer members of our society small loans(at huge interest rates)which our main stream lenders completely ignored.
It was still profitable illustrated by large investment by such well known fund managers as Neil Woodford or Invesco.
There is a proverb "If it ain't broke don't fix it ".
But the BOD of PFG are apparently not aware of it.
We must assume that some bright spark came up with the idea that they should change the MO completely by sacking all the self-employed collecting agents and replacing them with about half the number of fully employed ones which would be directed by a computer.
Well if I was the CEO my reply to the suggestion would be"what are you on?".
However if evidence was presented that the idea had some merit I would suggest that a small trial be carried out probably in an area which had poorer profitability than the average.
This trial would show what problems would appear and even if the result was a complete disaster the effect on the company's profit would be negligible.
But what did they do?
They charged in like The Light Brigade at Balaclava with the same result.
QED.
