It's on the barge pole list for me. Maybe a good buy once problems resolved, but not before....unless you are a gambler. No confidence in Chairman, CEO or FD. They all have to go.

To keep their capital ratios intact. Let's face it they haven't announced the exceptionals yet. I expect another warning at least. It's far too soon to be looking past the current issues. The business is in meltdown.

Topvest - what will they need to raise funds for?

Topvest I read they do not think fund raise will be necessary after cutting the dividend and maintain profitability at group level (albeit reduced)

But rather difficult to believe in those forecasts wouldn't you say? Hasn't Woodford lost it as forecasting 15% yield on this mess is a nonsense. There capital base must be on the brink if this continues. They have leverage and so a fundraise is a distinct possibility. Looks another Carillion to me.

According to Woodford's revenue and profit calculations in the interview above, these shares are trading on a 2019 p/e of 3x and yield 15%

"As the shares plunged, losses among the company's top investors were huge [see box]. Star fund manager Neil Woodford saw his 18pc holding fall £300m in value to £168m, although he issued a bullish outlook saying that while he was "hugely disappointed" he believed things would "ultimately get back on track."

Assume he won't be selling and backing the turnaround then, let's see.

Not one of my better investments,my only consolation is that the thousands of pounds lost here may ,in part,be made up from gains in Juridica Investments, another stock that everyone agreed was a basket case.

Dead right topvest - when there's seriously bad news the thing is to get out right away, not just sit around hoping for something to turn up. By getting out promptly I only lost half my money on Carrillion rather than 75% of it.
