Steel,
What do you think this means. Is this pre booking and hopeful thinking on behalf of PVR

My guess is that when PVR are down to their last million (which should be very soon) they will sack TOR and use that last million to pay off his contract!

Oil down near 5% today. At this rate it won't be feasible to drill in the Irish Sea!

Abu,

My apologies.

I think it is because they can close the file or update it if require. You know they can read and write. Te, He.

I am not commenting on your grammar. I am just enquiring why you have more success communicating with civil servants by phone and in person, and suggesting that maybe that is because THEY cannot read and write.

abu,

Are you taking the Mick about my grammar? If you are that is a poor show.

GD...Very interesting that you say "I have found contact either physically or by phone has always work". Is that because they cannot read and write!!!!

r9,

Yes hopefully. I am sure the approval docs are in the system, it just where.

I would be very surprised if PVR have not pressed the department involved. I am sure they have.

As regards dealing with the civil service. In my dealings with them over many years I have found contact either physically or by phone has always work. Issues have been resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

GD

I have been anti jnr for many years. Probably one of the worst CEO of all the companies I have invested in.

EOG given green light for 15 year exploration on Licensing Option 16/20 in the Slyne Basin.

So where is the governments green light for the Barryroe site survey?

Good morning Herm...Civil Servants are not helpful and efficient all over the world, but your ones seem to be worst than most!!!

I don't suppose they cared. Desperate for the cash. No offers from proper oilies. So done deal. Bonuses for the directors. Drinks in the bar. It's how these dodgy players tend to operate.

Div, Yes we expect too much haste and consideration from that lot. The mindset of a Civil Servant is not one bit helpful or efficient in this instance for sure.

Sorry guys, but you're all barking up the wrong tree. This isn't about ToR's overindulgence at shareholders' expense, or APEC's lack of transparency, but instead it is all about the DCCAE, its processes, procedures and lack of public accountability. Shocking bureaucracy from civil servants with no clue of real world pressures to conduct business.

AGM will be an undignified dogfight if this impasse persists. Yoke has been CEO for almost 20 years and has let us down continually and his salary and pension contribution alone must have cost around £7m......

Still no mention of the Barryroe farm in on the APEC web site. Their news page is just a PR puff showing SELFIES of Colin Liu posing with boats and powerful politicians and businessmen. The majority of these selfies are dated 2013-2015. The most recent is dated 2017. It appears, from the dated selfies of Colin Liu, that APEC's most "active" period was between 2013 and 2015 and that nothing newsworthy has happened since 2017!!

The APEC web site hasn't been updated since the Barryroe farm out deal was finalised. That's almost a year ago!! Does APEC still exist? If it does then the web site doesn't reflect that existence! It makes one wonder what level of due diligence PVR did on APEC before the Barryroe farm out agreement was signed?
