Pan,Good post. Shinners and Greens all causing chaos and anarchy. Shinners have done well at the ballotbox in recent years but theirs is primarily a protest vote after the banking crisis. How solid is their base will be tested at next election and new leader has inherited a frankly rotten party....

It was pure opportunism on the part of ff to dive into a populism contest with Sinn Fein and the Greens without regard for the country's economic future. The €116bn Project Ireland plan announced today will not be delivered without good planning and security of energy supply.
